Until now the KPU has not announced its official results, but presidential candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto has rejected the results of the 2019 election because it is considered to be full of fraud. It turned out that the same thing happened in a number of countries, where there was someone who lost and then rejected the election results.

Apparently, in addition to rejecting the results of the 2019 Presidential Election, Prabowo was also reluctant to file a lawsuit and report suspected fraud to the Constitutional Court. The Chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Raden Muhaammad Syafi’i, said that Prabowo – Sandiaga would not report or file a lawsuit to the Constitutional Court (MK). This was because his party no longer believed in the MK.
Meanwhile, a different attitude was directed by the Democratic Party, where Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) had suggested to Prabowo to remain patient waiting for the results of the recapitulation of the vote for the 2019 Election by the KPU. “Already, we have said it from the start,” said the Democratic Party Kogasma Commander.
The suggestion he made was based on the attitude of the Democratic Party which has a commitment to use constitutional methods in the administration of elections. Of course, while upholding the norms and ethics in politics and democracy. “We also prevent the involvement of our cadres in the form of intentions, especially actions that are unconstitutional.” AHY said.
Although Democrats agreed to Prabowo’s attitude towards the results of the 2019 Presidential Election, if the rejection was carried out in a way that violated the constitution to fight the people, and the Democratic party did not want to get involved.
On the other hand, the Chairman of the Working Party DPP, Badaruddin Andi Picunang, criticized Prabowo’s statement rejecting the results of the 2019 presidential election. Because the presidential election and legislative elections were held simultaneously, Prabowo should also reject the results of the 2019 legislative election.
The same thing was done by election participants in other countries. They failed to get the highest throne seat as president, then said they refused the results of the vote.
In 2013, the candidate for Venezuelan President from the opposition party Henrique Capriles rejected the election results. Because, he argued that there was a plan to change the results of the presidential election after the death of president Hugo Chaves. In the election, Capriles faced directly with incumbent party candidates. Nicholas Maduro. In the election, Maduro was declared victorious in the presidential election after winning 51 percent of the vote.
Capriles also suspected that the government had committed fraud by pressuring civil servants to choose Maduro. Therefore, he asked the Election Council to audit the election results. However, the Election Council did not find a significant difference after the audit was carried out, and Capriles considered the audit to be a mere joke.
As a result of the rejection of the results of the election, riots were inevitable and killed 7 people and 61 people were injured.
The rejection of the election results also occurred up to 2 volumes, of which in 2018, Maduro won the election again. Opposition party leader Juan Guaido boycotted the election results and called for daily demonstrations to protest Maduro’s leadership.
From the chaos, as a result it became an opportunity for the United States and Russia to interfere. As a result, Venezuela experienced a number of economic crises and social problems. Especially when Juan Guaido, who was supported by the United States, declared himself to be the temporary Presden of Venezuela.
If Prabowo still continues to reject the unconstitutional path, it is not impossible that chaos will also adorn the news in various media, and this also clearly threatens the breaking of unity to increasingly political polarization.
Even though what the KPU has done so far has been in accordance with the principle of transparency and accountability. So that there is no reason for any party not to accept the results of the process that is in accordance with the principle.
Even if anyone feels objection or is not satisfied with something in the process of recapitulation, they can submit it in a plenary meeting forum by attaching their data.
