Supporting the Government to Reveal Papua’s KST Fund Sources

The separatist and terrorist group (KST) is being surrounded by the Nemangkawi Task Force, both its headquarters and its weapons suppliers. The source of their funding is also being investigated, to reveal the fact that the real mastermind is.
KST eradication was carried out quickly by the authorities, including the source of funding. The existence of money is very important because if you know who is supplying money for KST, then this terrorist organization can be dissolved. Because from upstream to downstream it is traced, so that every KST member to his supporters will be caught and put in prison.
The facts were further revealed when Murib was caught by members of the Nemangkawi Task Force, in Puncak Regency. He was the supplier of firearms to KST and when he was arrested, there was 370 million rupiah in cash and several other pieces of evidence.
Then it was found further facts that he got the money from unscrupulous officials in the Pemda Puncak, and the total reached 600 million rupiah. The money was given in February 2021 and was earmarked for Lekagak Telenggen, one of the KST leaders who became the DPO. It’s very sad because that much money was taken from the village fund, which is actually state money.
Kombes Iqbal Alqudussy, Head of the Nemangkawi Operations Public Relations Task Force, stated that he would investigate the involvement of the Puncak Pemda in this case. Although during the search there was evidence in the form of a notebook, but the name of an official in the area was not found.
But the authorities certainly will not give up and continue to investigate this case. Because that person could use a pseudonym or someone else’s account to transfer to Murib, so as not to be caught. Or another way is to hand over the money in cash, so there is no digital trace and it will be difficult to investigate.
From the results of the investigation, it was suspected that the suspect was an official in the Tolikara area. He supplied the money and trusted Murib, because he was a friend when he was studying at a campus in Papua. This discovery is certainly surprising, because there are unscrupulous state officials but instead betray the state.
If it is true that an official from Tolikara channeled money to KST to buy sharp weapons, then it is very embarrassing. Because he abused his position to support a terrorist group. So that if caught will be exposed to 2 cases at once: corruption and terrorism.
The motive for this person to support KST was because he did not support special autonomy. Therefore, he wanted to thwart this program, and had KST do it. This action is very cowardly because the person does not want to get his own hands dirty when doing trouble.
Officials are still investigating whether there are other officials who support KST. Because if there is, of course they can be fired from their positions. Because he took advantage of his own rank and instead supported dangerous terrorist groups.
Do not let there be another supplier so that KST continues to get a supply of firearms, then use it to threaten the community and plan to kill the officers. Therefore, it is necessary to stop the source of funds so that KST is confused. Because there is no longer a ‘parent’ who ‘bribes’ them with facilities, logistics, and firearms.
Hopefully this investigation will be completed soon, so that no more unscrupulous officials dare to KKN and misuse village funds. If the supply of firearms and money is stopped, then KST will fall apart and they ‘go down the mountain’ in search of food. Then at that time it will be easier to be caught by the authorities. KST will be disbanded so that it no longer threatens public safety.
