Papua is Indonesia and Indonesia is Papua, both of these very closely and can’t be separated again. Papua is the eastern provinces of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). East does not mean lagging, even Papua is a province which is very rich, almost all types of natural resources in Papua. But that is at issue by people who are not liable to affect public support for independence and establish their own state.
KNPB (National Committee for West Papua). Yes, KNPB is an organization that wants Papua province to become a country. An organization which is always a rebellion against the Republic of Indonesia by way of confrontation and various other anarchist action. KNPB not only in Papua, but they have spread into the western region KNPB and central KNPB region which has always voiced for Papuan independence.
In North Sulawesi, KNPB movement more intensively conducted by Hiskia Meage (Chairman of the Indonesian Consulate KNPB). Somehow Papuan students look afraid of the leaders of the KNPB. Yet when we look back, Hiskia Meage is one Papuan students fail in completing his study at one of the leading universities of North Sulawesi. The failure of a reflection of how unqualified Hiskia Meage to get an education standards applied by the Government of Indonesia. But Hiskia Meage sworn in as Chairman of the Indonesian Consulate KNPB by the Chairman of the Central KNPB (Victor Yeimo). Whether such figures should be a role model for students Papua? Of course not, since many Papuan students are considered able and even always excel in his education at the leading universities of North Sulawesi.
Papuan students in North Sulawesi is a collection of smart people who elected to build Papua under the auspices of the NKRI. Even among them there are many students who receive full scholarships from the Indonesian government. It is their dedication to the people of Papua from Indonesian government, a dedication that shows how love for the Indonesian government to the superior seeds of Papua.
Do not be blind only because of pressure from a group of people or even one person. Papuan students are intelligent students who can determine the direction of his own life, which can be returned to Papua and help the Indonesian government to work together to build Papua. Try to open thinking, not only because of KNPB, Papuan students become distracted in learning and completing studynya. The future of Papuan students in North Sulawesi is very bright and promising, do not change the problem brighter future Papuan student becomes dark and without direction. Reject KNPB, starting Hiskia Meage, NKRI always provides a way for students who want to advance Papua.
No KNPB, no Hiskia Meage, only Papua which is part of NKRI.
