CIDISS – climate change is one of the serious problem in the world. It starts from cutting the forest and others. The climate has changed. The world pays big attention to this problem.
Indonesia, one of lungs of the world, provides a thousand forests. It supplies much oxygen to the world.
Indonesia government and USA make cooperation about program climate change in Indonesia. The program called Indonesia Forest and Climate Support (IFACS).
For this cooperation, US government will give USD 500 million. The news was spoken by US ambassador, Robert O. Blake to journalist in Buntoi village, Pulang pisau regency of Kalimantan Tengah Province.
As quote in Borneo News, Fiday (7/2), He said that IFACS will guarantee the reforestation. Through IFACT, US embassy will guarantee reforestation and economic growing continually.
According to him, Kalteng is main motor for handling gas emission greenhouse and emission of turf land in Indonesia.
