The Financial Services Authority (OJK) revealed that the Sustainable Development Goals are an international agenda which is a continuation of the Millennium Development Goals and was prepared by the United Nations (UN) involving 194 countries, civil society, and various economic actors from all corners of the world. The purpose of the agenda is to answer the demands of world leadership in overcoming poverty, inequality and climate change in the form of real action.
This agenda was set on September 25, 2015 and consists of 17 global goals with 169 targets that will be used as policy guidance and funding for the next 15 years and is expected to be achieved in 2030. These objectives and targets cover 3 dimensions of sustainable development, namely environment, social , and economy.
As a member of the United Nations (UN), Indonesia is also included in a country that participates in sustainable development in the world. That is why this country desperately needs a leader who truly wants to work hard, be modest, has no burden on the past and is firm and capable of carrying out the mandate.
In 2019, the Indonesian people were given the opportunity to re-elect national leadership in the democratic party title, namely the General Election (Election) 2019. However, it turned out that the event was damaged by individuals who deliberately spread hoaxes and intimidated the community so as to potentially break up national unity Indonesia. The supposed party should be interpreted cheerfully by showing a variety of achievements and good and realistic development programs and answering the needs of the times. Not only does it scare the scare and spread hoaxes, so pessimists appear that have an impact on the high and high number of Abstentions.
If the issue of hoax news is not immediately addressed, then the 2019 election with a quality and dignity is only a discourse. Not to mention the other dangers that can be caused, namely disputes on all fronts of society. It is possible that a peaceful Indonesia becomes a land for mutual disputes.
If the 2019 election is not carried out successfully, then the sustainability of Indonesia’s development is certainly difficult to realize. That is why everyone must unite in fighting false news or hoaxes that are now easily spread around us and are not afraid to use voting rights and do not abstain because this 2019 election determines the face of Indonesia in the future. Let’s use voting rights intelligently so that national leadership sustainability can
materialized for the success of Indonesia’s sustainable development.
