The government through the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) continues to expand door-to-door vaccinations to various regions. The community also supports door-to-door vaccination because it can reach residents who have difficulty accessing vaccines and increase body immunity amid the threat of the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 variant.
Have you been vaccinated? The national vaccination program started in early 2021 and more than 60% of Indonesia’s population has been vaccinated twice. In the past, vaccines could only be obtained at Puskesmas, hospitals, or other health centers, now they are easier to access thanks to the door to door vaccination program.
Door to door vaccination is a program initiated by the National Intelligence Agency (BIN). With this model of vaccination, people can get vaccine injections easily and quickly, because health workers come to them. In 2022 this model of vaccination is again promoted to prevent transmission of Omicron.
When there is news of the death of a Corona patient with the Omicron variant, we must not be afraid, but must increase our vigilance. In addition to continuing to comply with health protocols, vaccination is also mandatory. Door-to-door vaccination aims to make people healthy, accelerate the formation of group immunity, and prevent the spread of Omicron.
The Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus is more wary than delta or others because it can spread 70 times faster. Vaccination can stop it because if someone has been injected with the vaccine, then they have high immunity. So that he will not be infected with this latest type of Corona (provided that he is also orderly in complying with health protocols). Meanwhile, door-to-door vaccination stopped Omicron’s viciousness because this program approached the community so that more and more people were vaccinated and finally Omicron stopped its spread.
Door to door vaccination is not only carried out in DKI Jakarta and its surroundings, but also in other provinces, even outside Java. BIN as the initiator of this vaccination really wants to expand vaccination coverage so that all Indonesian citizens are free from Corona, especially Omicron. If many have been vaccinated, then herd immunity will be achieved quickly and we can be free from the pandemic status as soon as possible.
Door-to-door vaccinations are usually carried out in the field or at the village office, near villages or housing estates. If there is this program, people will want to be vaccinated because it is cost-effective, they just walk and don’t need to buy gasoline. In addition, the queue is also faster because there are fewer participants when compared to mass vaccinations which are usually held by private parties.
In addition to being near residential areas, door-to-door vaccinations are also held at schools, because currently available vaccines in Indonesia can be injected for children aged 6 to 16 years. Students can get vaccinated to increase their immunity. This program is also intensified at the beginning of the year due to the opening of schools, aka 100% face-to-face.
We must support door-to-door vaccination because it can increase the number of people being vaccinated. Don’t even run away when health workers come to give you an injection, because their mission is to make people healthy. Vaccines are very important to avoid Corona, especially Omicron which is more virulent and can take human lives.
Vaccination is very important because it can increase the body’s immunity and when we are disciplined in health protocols, we will avoid the Covid-19 virus, especially the Omicron variant. When there is a door to door vaccination, come with pleasure because later your immune system will increase after the injection. The injection is not painful and harmless, in fact it is beneficial because it avoids Corona.
