Academics and Community Elements Support Prabowo Gibran’s Free Health and Meal Program.

Jakarta,- The Prabowo Subianto government will conduct a free health check-up program targeting 52 million Indonesians in 2025. This program is intended as a form of health prevention for the community. Lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) UM Surabaya, Dede Nasrullah said that this program is very strategic and good for the community, it should be supported to create a healthy Indonesian society.

“appreciate and support the government which provides free medical treatment, for a healthy Indonesia,” he said.

The government of President and Vice President-elect Prabowo-Gibran has prepared a budget of around IDR 5 trillion for free health check-ups, including tuberculosis (TB) tests, for at least 52 million Indonesians.

Appreciate if the government supports and prioritizes programs related to free medical check-ups including the TB test that will be launched.

In addition to TB prevalence, the overall health check plan for the community will be carried out routinely once a year or twice a year. The health check includes checking blood pressure, blood sugar, uric acid, or other potential catastrophic diseases. Initially, this free health check will be prioritized for people over the age of 50 and have the potential to suffer from tuberculosis or TB.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Presidential Communications Office, Hasan Nasbi, said that the Prabowo Subianto administration will conduct a free health check-up program targeting 52 million Indonesians in 2025. This program is intended as a form of health prevention for the community.

“This is because there is concern, we have to consider this as a serious matter and this is so that the curative (health) aspect does not become too much of a burden. If TB rises again, it will be a problem,” he said.

In addition to supporting public health, the new government of Prabowo Gibran also celebrated with a free nutritious meal policy. This program is very helpful in improving human resources.
The free nutritious meal program is the main target in easing the burden on parents and to ensure that the next generation of the nation grows intelligently.

Grand Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, KH. Nasaruddin Umar, considered this program very relevant to the current conditions, especially in building a healthier and smarter generation. He said that malnutrition during growth will have a significant impact on children’s cognitive abilities.

“This free nutritious meal program is very important, because it can prevent malnutrition that affects the intelligence of Indonesia’s young generation. Thus, we can produce a more qualified generation,” said KH. Nasaruddin.
Furthermore, KH. Nasaruddin emphasized that this initiative is not only about physical health, but also about improving the quality of education and the future of the nation.

The program is considered a strategic step that will have an impact on improving students’ academic performance and ultimately, social welfare.
