As regulated in the derivative Job Creation Law which requires regional governments to protect financing and investment, it shows that the state is developing a social security system for all people and empowering weak and underprivileged people in accordance with human dignity. So concrete evidence for the implementation of the Job Creation Law is by empowering community groups who have micro, small and medium enterprises.
There are 6 important points that play an important role in the Job Creation Law for MSMEs and Cooperatives, which contains a series of policies to answer challenges for Cooperatives and MSMEs so that they can push MSMEs to the forefront. A number of these policies aim to facilitate access to permits, access to supply chains, access to business development, access to financing and market access for cooperatives and MSMEs.
The young generation is currently the foundation of the nation’s hopes for the future so that Indonesia will be more advanced and stronger in the arena of increasingly strong global competition. Youth is a potential for the country as a fleet in the nation’s progress. The role of youth is very important in filling development and maintaining national independence.
The Task Force (Task Force) for Accelerating Socialization of the Job Creation Law (UUCK) through the Socialization Strategy Working Group (Pokja) and the Public Relations Bureau of the Ministry of State Secretariat (Kemensetneg Public Relations Bureau) is conducting socialization of UUCK to young people.
Member of the UUCK Socialization Strategy Task Force Working Group, Faisal Fahmi, claims that this law is basically very relevant and beneficial for young people in the long term, five to ten years.
He claims that through UUCK, young people get benefits such as easy access to apply for business permits, access to business financing and access to facilities. Fasial said that the Job Creation Law has been regulated in detail so that it can create jobs.
This also includes how these young people encourage entrepreneurship . Then in the future, create jobs continuously. In the end, national companies will emerge which are indeed MSMEs.
Recently, Faisal has been conducting outreach to young people through universities and youth organizations in various regions in Indonesia. This is done so that young people care about and know the essence of the Job Creation Law. Because what is worrying is not about the pros and cons but rather the ignorance of today’s young people.
It doesn’t stop there, the UUCK Socialization Acceleration Task Force also invites the young generation in East Kalimantan (Kaltim) to become entrepreneurs in order to improve the regional and national economy.
Chair of the UUCK Task Force Socialization Strategy Working Group, Dimas Oky Nugroho, said that entrepreneurship can be started on a small scale through MSMEs or running contemporary businesses such as cafes, culinary delights and other products that can generate added economic value.
He also said that the younger generation has a community or network that can expand the existence of the business they are involved in. Moreover, with the Job Creation Law, institutional aspects are easily fulfilled, making it easier for entrepreneurs to get access to capital, partnerships and other forms of assistance from the government and private sector in business development.
The Job Creation Law is expected to bring significant changes to the world of work and the younger generation must understand its role and benefits well.
In line with this, recently, regional governments have begun to carry out outreach regarding the ease of doing business through individual companies, as carried out by the South Sumatra Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) by deploying the General Legal Administration Services (AHU) Sub-Division Team and First Expert Legal Counselor.
South Sumatra Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Ilham Djaya, explained that individual companies provide legal certainty and increase the ease of doing business for the community. He quoted President Joko Widodo’s previous statement that the Job Creation Law would make it easier for people, especially micro and small businesses, to open new businesses with overlapping regulations and complicated procedures.
Furthermore, he explained that individual companies would also make it easier for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to obtain legal certainty and easy access to capital financing from banks.
This can make it easier for regional residents, especially young people who live in the region, to be more confident in opening MSMEs because everything has been made easier with the enactment of the Job Creation Law.
With a detailed understanding of the Job Creation Law, it is hoped that the younger generation will be able to achieve better job opportunities by developing relevant skills, and playing an active role in advancing the economy. The country has been cut, business licensing for micro and small businesses is no longer required, only registration is required.
The reason is, by carrying out entrepreneurial activities, these young people also have the opportunity to actively contribute to improving the economy of their respective regions, including being able to improve the national economy.
