Jakarta – The inauguration of the President and Vice President-elect, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, is just a few days away. “Preparations continue to be refined. The dirty rehearsal will be held on Friday, October 18, followed by the dress rehearsal on Saturday, October 19, 2024,” said Muzani in a statement to the media, Thursday (16/10).
Not only the technical aspects, the preparation of invitations for VVIP guests, including heads of friendly countries, is also being finalized. The MPR RI continues to coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and security forces to ensure everything runs smoothly, from protocol to security during the event.

Meanwhile, communication with Ganjar Pranowo is still ongoing. Invitations to former Presidents and Vice Presidents, such as Megawati Soekarnoputri, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Try Sutrisno, and Jusuf Kalla, are also being sent.
Support for Prabowo-Gibran Priority Programs
One of the flagship programs of the Prabowo-Gibran government, namely the construction of 3 million houses per year, has received support from various parties, including PT Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN). BTN President Director, Nixon LP Napitupulu, in his interview with the media, revealed that his party had provided a number of recommendations for the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) scheme to the housing task force.
“The scheme we are proposing includes village houses, houses for low-income communities (MBR), and urban houses. This is part of an effort to support the government in achieving the national housing development target,” Nixon explained, Tuesday (15/10).
The program, which is targeted to reach 15 million houses in one term of government, includes the construction of apartments in urban areas and houses in rural areas. The Head of the Housing Task Force, Hashim Djojohadikusumo, emphasized that the program will be accelerated with a target of 3 million units per year.
PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono added that the step to increase the income limit for housing subsidy recipients to IDR 12 million per month is a strategic effort to expand people’s access to decent housing.
“This threshold increase is very important because it will provide a greater opportunity for those who previously did not qualify to get subsidized housing,” said Basuki.
The new Prabowo-Gibran government is expected to bring a breath of fresh air to housing development, which is one of the foundations for improving the welfare of the Indonesian people.
