Banda Aceh – The construction of the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) Building in Ladong, Aceh, is a significant step in facilitating the development of creativity and careers of the young generation of Aceh. This project was initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) in collaboration with various parties, based on direct instructions from President Joko Widodo.
Standing on 5 hectares of land, the AMANAH Building will later become a training and self-development center for young people in Aceh. This building, which has an area of 1.9 hectares, is designed to provide equitable training to increase their access to job opportunities. One of the flagship programs that will be offered is special waiter training for Deaf Friends, which provides an opportunity for the five best participants to work directly in cafes and restaurants in Aceh.
Normansyah, one of the instructors in this waiter training program, expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of the participants. “The progress is extraordinary, although Deaf friends need more time to learn and adapt to a work environment that is predominantly non-Deaf,” said Normansyah. The training was held from July 29 to August 1, 2024 at Ivory Coffee, Banda Aceh, and all participants showed high commitment during the program.
In addition, the AMANAH Building will also host the “Go To Campus” event with the theme “Yang Muda Yang Berkreasi,” which aims to inspire young people in Aceh to be creative in the digital era. Harris Vriza, an actor who participated in the event, expressed his optimism regarding the construction of the AMANAH Building. “Thank you to AMANAH Goes To Campus. The presence of the AMANAH Building in Ladong will be a place for young people in Aceh to gather, discuss, and collaborate. Hopefully everything will run smoothly and be beneficial for the development of their creativity,” he said.
With the presence of the AMANAH Building, it is hoped that the young generation of Aceh can be better prepared to face challenges in the world of work and in the field of entrepreneurship. The training programs provided will increase their independence, competence, and professionalism, so that they can become qualified workers or successful young entrepreneurs.
