Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent and Great (AMANAH) continues to encourage the interest of young people in the area nicknamed Rencong Country so that they are able to maximize their full potential in various industries, including fashion.

This is also related to the true potential that Aceh has. Not just in one field, but in various other fields including the fashion industry.

Therefore, if the large potential ownership of Acehnese youth in the fashion industry does not receive optimal support, then of course they will not be able to realize progress and develop independence.

Because of how large the potential is, this made the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), through the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) then initiate Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Awesome (AMANAH) as the best forum for the young generation to succeed the nation from the region nicknamed the Veranda of Mecca. actualize all their talents and interests.

BIN, through AMANAH, continues to strive to empower young people in Aceh by holding many trainings, including one in collaboration with the Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC) regarding training entitled ‘X Fashion – Explore Your Passion in Fashion’ which is located at Syiah Kuala University ( USK), Kopelma Darussalam, Banda Aceh.

The aim of this training is to continue to explore all the talents and potential of Aceh’s young generation in the fashion sector. Not only that, but the event also aimed to attract several selected participants who had previously gone through a selection process for design work and underwent an interview process with the mentors. The selected participants then took part in a private class session together with experienced and qualified mentors in their fields that AMANAH provided.

For information, as many as 500 participants from various regions such as North Aceh, Lhokseumawe, Pidie, Sabang Island, Central Aceh and Aceh Tamiang took part in the event held by AMANAH.

All Acehnese young people receive various kinds of very useful material from mentors who are competent in their fields, allowing them to be able to understand what developments in the fashion industry are like today.

It’s not quite there, but the institution led by Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, through Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Besar, also provided the youth of Rencong with the best strategy to penetrate the global market by continuing to encourage their traditional management, namely in this case Acehnese wastra (traditional cloth).

Through the training that AMANAH provides, young people are also able to understand what brand DNA is like and trend forecasting, including sustainable fashion. They also learn how to do marketing and branding optimally.

Chairman of IFC, Khairul Fajri, revealed that the training activities carried out by AMANAH clearly brought many benefits and opportunities for Acehnese young people to continue learning and developing, especially in the field of fashion.

Moreover, data shows that the creative economy sector in Aceh and the fashion world are the second largest income earners in Indonesia to date. For this reason, when the young generation joins AMANAH, of course they will become talented young people, because there are lots of good programs and interesting knowledge there. All these facilities are to provide opportunities for young people to continue learning.

Meanwhile, one of the speakers from IFC at the training event, Ali Charisma, emphasized that the existence of Aneuk Muda Aceh Superior and Great is very important, especially because it makes it possible to further elevate local culture, such as Acehnese embroidery and batik in fashion design.

Because AMANAH has provided wide-open facilities, then the young generation of Aceh should be able to remain honest with local cultural conditions, then never give up to continue to promote their local culture, as well as determine the right target market and be consistent in their work.

On the other hand, one of the participants in the training, Afra Syahra Nabilah Azhar (23) stated that she was very happy with the wealth of knowledge she gained from the competent mentors and all the resource persons that AMANAH presented.

The young man considered that the activities carried out by AMANAH were very interesting, because there was a lot of knowledge in them, including discussion of fashion strategies for the global market and how to teach the younger generation to understand their brand’s DNA.

BIN continues to encourage the interest of young people in doing business, including being able to maximize Aceh’s extraordinary potential in the world of the fashion industry. One of them is by initiating AMANAH, which includes many forms of training for the nation’s young generation in Rencong regarding the world of business.
