Banda Aceh – The Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent (AMANAH) Program, which was the brainchild of President Joko Widodo, has again received appreciation for its contribution in developing young talents in Aceh, especially in the field of technological innovation. AMANAH’s presence at the 2024 Innovative Product Creative Expo (IPCE) at the Ar Raniry State Islamic University (UIN) Banda Aceh is clear evidence of its commitment to encouraging the creativity of the younger generation.
During the event, the AMANAH Booth attracted the attention of many visitors, especially students and lecturers at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Ar Raniry. The innovative products produced by AMANAH’s youth, such as humanoid robots and remote-controlled vehicle robots, succeeded in inspiring the visitors.
UIN Ar Raniry Student President, Irfan Rahmad Ghafar, stated that AMANAH provides extensive opportunities for students to learn more about the world of technological innovation. “With AMANAH, fellow students can be more enthusiastic about innovation, because the products on display can be an inspiration for them,” said Irfan on Thursday, September 26 2024.
Apart from exhibiting robots, AMANAH also displayed several tools and mobile applications that are still in the development stage. These products are the result of the Aceh Digital Innovation and Creativity Techfest (ADICT) competition, which was held by AMANAH to encourage the creativity of Acehnese youth in the field of technology.
Irfan hopes that AMANAH’s participation in IPCE 2024 can open up opportunities for wider collaboration between AMANAH and UIN Ar Raniry, especially in developing the technology sector in Aceh. “With this collaboration, students’ existing talents can be channeled better, so that they are no longer confused when they have new innovations,” he said.
The AMANAH program, which is run by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), is recognized as having become a new hope for Aceh’s young generation. Irfan appreciated this program as an important forum for channeling students’ interests and talents in the field of technology. “Student innovation in Aceh often does not receive attention. “With AMANAH, these talents can be accommodated and developed further,” he added.
It is hoped that AMANAH’s existence as an idea of President Joko Widodo will continue and have a positive impact on developing the potential of youth in Aceh, especially in preparing them to compete in the digital era.
