Analyst: Prabowo’s Foreign Visits Achievements Bring Indonesia as a Global Player

Political analyst Ujang Komaruddin revealed that President Prabowo’s working visits abroad have aroused a sense of pride among the Indonesian people.

“So, if we analyze and observe what Mr. Prabowo has done as the 8th President of Indonesia, it has impressed all Indonesian people. He has experience, good relations with many countries, and also world leaders,” he said.

Furthermore, Ujang emphasized the importance of Indonesia’s position on the international stage under Prabowo’s leadership.

“I see that Prabowo can position a free and active stance in the international eye for Indonesia’s interests. In this context, Indonesia must be able to become a global player or world player in relation to international relations interests,” he explained.

According to Ujang, these visits are not just about diplomacy, but also affirm Indonesia’s readiness to play an active role on the international stage. He also sees that President Prabowo indeed has considerable experience in diplomacy on the world stage.

“Because the Head of State has often visited foreign countries and conducted diplomacy with many countries before becoming President,” said Ujang.

One important outcome of this visit is funding support for social programs in Indonesia. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto mentioned that the Chinese government will fund the “Free Nutritious Meal” program initiated by President Prabowo.

He added that China, which supports this program, has implemented it first.

“Yes, they (the Chinese government) will ‘support’ because they have also implemented nutritious meals here,” said Airlangga.

As is known, Indonesia and China have agreed on funding for the ‘Food Supplementation and School Feeding Programme in Indonesia.’

This agreement was announced in the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Indonesian and Chinese governments, which was witnessed directly by Prabowo and President Xi Jinping.
