The Head of the Archipelago Capital Authority (OIKN) said that the development of IKN development until the end of January 2024 was running in accordance with the target that had been set , namely 71.47 percent of the target set in stage one .
Head of OIKN Bambang Susantono said that the first phase of IKN construction consisted of four groundbreakings which were carried out in September, November, December 2023 and January 2024. This proves that his party is committed to continuing to work to make IKN a liveable and lovable city . city.

Based on data obtained from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), the progress of IKN development is increasing. Minister of PUPR, Basuki Hadimuljon, said that the overall progress of IKN development phase 1 had reached 71.47%. The areas included in phase 1 of construction are the Presidential Palace and ceremonial grounds which are 54.07% complete, the Phase 1 Axis of Nationality is 96.41% complete, and the Sepaku Semoi Dam is 100% complete.
The government has deployed the IKN project to ensure that a number of projects are completed as quickly as possible so that the Independence Ceremony can be held on August 17 2024. The area in front of the Presidential Palace is the National Axis area which will later become the venue for the Independence Ceremony , which is currently covered in green grass. Apart from development progress, it was recorded that the total investment entered in stage one reached IDR. 47.5 with the portion of private investment reaching IDR 35.9 trillion and development at KIPP has made good progress, namely the construction of the Presidential Palace and Ceremonial Field which has reached 54.7 percent.
OIKN is optimistic that more investors will invest long-term capital in the development of Nusantara City in 2024, with a target of approximately IDR 100 trillion by the end of this year from the private sector and state-owned companies.
