Yogyakarta – The Jakarta women’s volleyball team BIN defeated the first round winner, Jakarta Pertamina Fastron, with a score of 3-2 (25-21, 25-20, 15-9) at the Yogyakarta State University (UNY) Sports Hall, DIY.
With this victory, Jakarta BIN established itself towards the Final Four and is in third place with 18 points.
This was Pertamina Fastron’s first defeat in the second round out of four matches that left one match. Meanwhile, Jakarta BIN has completed five matches with one loss and four wins.
Jakarta BIN coach, Octavian said, this victory was a provision to face the team in the final four. Going forward, his team will continue to correct the mistakes that occurred in this second half round.
“We’ll see for the Final Four, we also have a lot of rotations. Thank God, the rotation was running even though there were obstacles, hopefully this match will give us confidence to face the Final Four,” said Octavian.
He further said that the new debutant team in the women’s proliga division had good quality and were able to compete in the number one volleyball tournament in Indonesia. According to him, this victory will be a reference in the future development of the team.
“This is used as a reference for us as a new team, we also want to have targets, have achievements, in the Final Four the children can all be on fire, and we have entered the final four,” he said.
Meanwhile, outside hitter from Jakarta BIN Aulia Suci Nurfadila revealed that the match against Jakarta Pertamina Fastron was a fierce match.
In that match, Aulia said that her team was still experiencing many problems and would fix them in the next match.
“Alhamdulillah, it’s good even though there are a few obstacles. Maybe earlier Peiyan Chen wasn’t feeling well, he wasn’t fit enough so he was feeling a bit down. If there is no pressure from the opponent. Hopefully we can do even better in the future and Jakarta BIN will win,” he said.
