The State Intelligence Agency (BIN) is collaborating with academics and universities or universities to unite and synergize in the Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent and Great (AMANAH) Program to further increase the innovation capacity of the region’s youth.

The existence of good synergy and collaboration between various parties as stakeholders or related stakeholders, including from BIN or academics and universities, is very important in the successful running of the AMANAH Program so that there is an optimal increase in innovation from young people.

The reason is, when young people as the next generation of the nation are able to further optimize their ability to innovate, especially if the youth’s potential receives good support and a platform, it is clear that they can become pioneers for the nation’s progress. For this reason, all parties, including BIN and academics and universities, work together to support the continuity of the AMANAH Program.

The occurrence of good and sustainable collaboration between these various parties and the younger generation must of course receive full support. It is not surprising why the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia (Menpora RI) Dito Ariotedjo encourages sustainable collaboration between various parties.

According to him, the involvement of young people who make up the majority of the country’s population will really encourage development that is not only innovative, but also remains inclusive.

The nation’s future young generation is the key to the future of this country. So they should not only be brave figures who dream, but also be able to act and create real innovations in their respective regions.

The role of young people is very important in making Indonesia a developed country to welcome a Golden Indonesia in 2045 with an average economic growth of up to 7 percent.

Appreciation and support accompanied the implementation of the construction of the AMANAH Building by the agency led by Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan is because it is an effort to encourage young people to be more innovative.

Moreover, BIN also continues to collaborate with various parties from academics and universities, such as the collaboration between the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul and Besar Program together with the Atsiri Research Center (ARC) to empower the youth of Rencong State by focusing on products that are beneficial to society at large.

Thus, according to the Director of the Directorate of Business and Sustainable Funds at Syiah Kuala University and Aceh Patchouli Expert, Dr. Syaifullah Muhammad said that all local products could later be sold to markets and have a direct impact on the economy of Acehnese youth.

Good collaboration has made Syiah Kuala University (USK) successful in carrying out an innovation process from upstream to downstream on Aceh’s superior local product, namely patchouli, through the USK Patchouli Science and Technology Center of Excellence (PUI), namely ARC.

ARC innovates patchouli products based on the needs of the community, especially Aceh patchouli farmers. Several steps were taken starting from a survey of the regional innovation system (SIDa) for patchouli, the process of forming a team, creating a roadmap, research funding to implementing a roadmap from upstream to downstream in the Aceh patchouli industry.

For information, Serambi Mecca is one of the best quality patchouli oil producers in the world. The area of patchouli fields in Aceh reaches up to 1,212 hectares and around 817 hectares of them are patchouli areas that have produced or been successfully harvested.

Meanwhile, BPPW Aceh Commitment Making Officer (PPK) Agung Jadi Prakoso said that the AMANAH Building was a forum for developing and increasing the capacity of Rencong State’s young human resources (HR) in various fields. Some of these fields are creative industries, research and technology, entrepreneurship, creative industries, education, literacy, culture and language.

Not half-hearted, BIN as the initiator of the AMANAH Program, as a follow-up to the Order of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi), continues to ensure that the building construction is of very high quality.

Therefore, the Director General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Ir. Diana Kusumastuti explained that the building construction contractor needed to increase the number of existing workers by up to 200 more people.

According to him, this aims to ensure that the target time for project completion is achieved optimally. Apart from that, the specifications and technical aspects of project construction can be guaranteed so that the sturdiness and reliability of the building can be tested and function according to its needs.

For this reason, BIN as the initiator continues to collaborate with various parties including academics and universities to work together in synergy in the AMANAH Program to further increase the innovation and creativity abilities of Acehnese youth.
