Denpasar, Bali – PT. PLN (Persero) together with Binda Bali are strengthening collaboration to ensure the smooth implementation of the 2024 World Water Forum (WWF) in Bali. PT. PLN (Persero) also ensured preparations for the electricity supply for the 10th WWF event.
General Manager of the Bali Distribution Main Unit, I Wayan Udayana, expressed PLN’s readiness to make the implementation of the 10th WWF a success in Bali.
During a limited meeting with the Bali Regional Intelligence Agency (Binda), the General Manager of the Bali Main Distribution Unit, I Wayan Udayana, said that PLN had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bali Regional BIN regarding the supervision of the electricity sector to ensure the reliability of electricity supply with a secure communication network. both up to the regional level in Bali.
“Every meeting held by regional leaders is always reported to the Head of BIN and the Director of PLN, so cooperation to exchange information through this memorandum of understanding is necessary,” said I Wayan Udayana.
Binda Bali representative, Colonel Agus, stated that his party was ready to synergize with PLN in making the WWF Summit a success and maintaining electricity reliability in Bali in the future. It is hoped that cooperation between the two parties can ensure that the event runs smoothly and safely.
Regarding this matter, Professor of the Faculty of Law, National Education University (Undiknas) Denpasar, I Nyoman Budiana, appreciated the synergy carried out by state institutions in bringing security stability to Bali ahead of the 10th WWF.
“All levels of security forces, including TNI, Polri, BNPT, intelligence and regional government officials have united to overcome security problems in Bali,” explained Nyoman.
He continued that the synergy of all state institutions would have a significant impact. Including, preventing groups that are resistant to the World Water Forum event.
The Professor at the Faculty of Law, National Education University (Undiknas) Denpasar also believes that the 10th WWF event can take place safely and smoothly. He also supports efforts to involve pecalang or local Balinese security forces.
“Bali’s local wisdom will help the government so that this event can be held calmly and successfully produce good output and outcomes for Bali,” he concluded.
