Aceh — The community appreciates the Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent and Great (AMANAH) program which holds a prestigious dance competition to fully encourage the birth of creativity among regional artists.
AMANAH’s 2024 Creative Dance Competition is entitled ‘Aceh Na Gaya’.
Putri Nisrina, one of the participants, assessed that this competition would further encourage the creativity of artists from the area nicknamed Tanah Rencong, especially in the art of dance.
Therefore, he really appreciates AMANAH’s initiative to hold a prestigious dance competition.
“God willing, this activity can improve the arts, especially in the field of dance, because with this activity, Acehnese youth can participate and be creative in the events held by AMANAH,” said Putri.
One of the judges at the dance competition, Novirela Minang Sari, revealed that the participants were able to explore dance further while still positioning regional traditional dance as their foundation.
“In general, we see significant changes in dance. “This way, the participants can start exploring dance,” he said.
“Starting from traditional dance which is the basis. “To this day, creative dance has been able to position itself at the same level as other areas,” added Novi.
According to him, the 2024 Creative Dance Competition by AMANAH clearly provides a breath of fresh air for arts activists.
The existence of the Indonesian Government’s flagship program can become a new forum for the young generation of Aceh as a whole.
“Actually, this is a platform that is eagerly awaited by the people of Aceh themselves, especially in the dance arts environment. “Because, up until now, we haven’t had a platform that really provides space for us to express ourselves,” said the dance judge.
On the other hand, one of Indonesia’s well-known influencers, Syakir Daulay, also gave high appreciation to AMANAH.
According to him, this flagship program initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) enables Acehnese youth who may have previously lacked the courage to collaborate to continue achieving their dreams.
“It’s true that Acehnese young people within themselves want to become something, perhaps so far they haven’t had the courage to collaborate,” said Syakir.
“The hope is that with this event, we will be braver in creating opportunities and collaborating together, so that these opportunities can produce maximum benefits for ourselves and many people,” he concluded.
