The entire community from various groups in several regions is very unified and has one voice to strongly and firmly reject the idea of a mass movement nicknamed people power that Rocky Gerung wants to initiate, which will be held on August 10, 2023.
The Jago Abang community in Lamongan Regency, East Java Province (East Java) have all united their voices to strongly reject the idea of Rocky Gerung, who himself plans to hold a mass action called ‘People Power’ on the 10th August 2023 coming.
Related to the strong rejection of the idea of implementing the People Power movement, the youth leader or Coordinator of the Jago Abang Community of Lamongan Regency, Suhartono explained that indeed all of them had a very firm attitude and view to reject was the action of the political observer.
Of course, it is not without reason why they strongly reject the idea of implementing the people power action put forward by Rocky Gerung. This is because the Jago Abang Community considers that precisely with such an action it will definitely further complicate the atmosphere and is also very capable of having the potential and triggering problems in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
Because the presence of the people power action event was able to become a very real trigger and had the potential to create divisions in all Indonesian people, so they immediately refused because they did not want this to happen.
Furthermore, the Lamongan Regency Jago Abang Community also stated and firmly acknowledged that Joko Widodo is a leader and also the President of the Republic of Indonesia, as the Head of State and Head of Government in the country based on the choices of all Indonesian people.
They also really hope that in the future, people throughout the archipelago will not be easily provoked by provocations that may continue to be deliberately exhaled by many other parties who are completely irresponsible and want precisely for this country to experience chaos so that certain people or groups it will gain its own benefits from managing the issues that are circulating as well as controlling how the riots occurred in the country.
Therefore, it is very important for all elements of the nation to jointly be able to move very compactly and maintain integration and coordination so that the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is maintained because peace and tranquility in this country is a fixed price that has been damaged and tainted by a certain group of parties.
The rejection of the idea of mobilizing a number of masses with a people power put forward by Rocky Gerung was also rejected by other parties such as the Managers of the GP Ansor Branch in Lamongan Regency. Related to this rejection, the Head of the GP Ansor Lamongan Branch Office, Muhammad Mukhlisin, stated that it was clear that such a movement would be able to provoke the community even more.
What’s more, when for example the general public has started to get hot and is increasingly provoked by the actions of this totally irresponsible group, it will also make the anger that occurs spread even more widely in the public so that it has the potential to cause various kinds of deviant things to be done.
GP Ansor Lamongan also considered that what had been done by Rocky Gerung was something that was very excessive and had the potential to further damage and worsen the dignity of this nation itself. In addition, in response to the existence of diction or sentences that were put forward by the philosopher, Mukhlisin considered that the sentences were clearly expressed in a very emotional way.
It didn’t just end there, but the words of the political observer, which have recently become very viral and widely circulated on social media, are also considered to have greatly demeaned and insulted the dignity of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to able to make this nation become increasingly rowdy.
There is a very clear difference between the efforts of someone who wants to criticize and someone who deliberately wants to insult. Moreover, when seen from how enormous services have been rendered by the Head of State during his leadership in leading the nation, it is clear that the words spoken by Rocky Gerung were completely inappropriate.
It is known that on August 10, 2023, news has spread that an agenda will be held in the form of a mass movement entitled people power, one of which was initiated by Rocky Gerung. Suddenly, when they heard the news, the people were immediately furious and gave a unanimous attitude to unanimously reject it.
