BALI — Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Indonesia, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, expressed a lot of appreciation from the delegates to Indonesia regarding the implementation of the 10th WWF Summit.
One of them was the President of Fiji who admitted that he really admires and believes that Indonesia is currently an extraordinary country.
Furthermore, Luhut explained that as the host of a world-class water forum, Indonesia is able to provide many platforms to provide financial assistance to other developing countries.
“Indonesia has a platform to provide assistance in the financial gap that occurs in developing countries,” he said.
According to the Coordinating Minister for Marves, all these proud achievements are one of the many leadership achievements of President Joko Widodo during his 10 years at the helm.
“This shows leadership from Indonesia and I think Pak Jokowi’s achievements during his 10 years as President, which in my opinion is an extraordinary achievement,” he said.
“All of these extraordinary achievements are a gift from the President’s hard work during his time in office, which in my opinion is extraordinary,” added Luhut.
Previously, President Jokowi also introduced his successor in leading this nation, which according to the Coordinating Minister for Marves reflects sustainability.
Therefore, the Head of State’s commitment to realizing sustainable development and policies has received a lot of appreciation from various parties.
“Yesterday, the President at the opening of WWF introduced the President-elect to the international community, and it was really appreciated by many people who saw the continuity of Indonesia’s development,” he said.
Then the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries also revealed that President Joko Widodo’s leadership so far had created a very good tradition.
This is because there continues to be continuity or ongoing commitment between one leadership and the next.
According to Luhut, with such continuity, it is not impossible to indicate that Indonesia is a great nation because it has good traditions.
“I think this is a tradition that must be upheld by this nation, so that a great nation can create a good tradition, which maintains continuity rather than the development of one nation,” he concluded.
