A number of experts have called for the importance of maintaining a conducive situation ahead of the inauguration of the President and Vice President-elect, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka on October 20, 2024.
This was conveyed by one of the political observers from Bung Karno University, Faisyal Chaniago. According to him, this support is very important to maintain political stability and prevent shocks in the midst of the leadership change process.
“All parties must support this government transition, including the political elite, so that there is no political turmoil and Indonesia can be stable in going through this period,” said Faisyal.
He also added that this transition period is important to prevent overlapping policies, so that ongoing programs can continue until the new cabinet is formed.
“The government transition period is important to ensure that programs run smoothly until the new cabinet is formed, for the sake of sustainable development in Indonesia,” he added.
In addition, Faisyal emphasized the importance of synergy between the administrations of President Jokowi and President-elect Prabowo Subianto. According to him, support from the current and future governments can ensure the continuity of development that has been achieved so far.

Meanwhile, an observer from the Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (Indef), Izzudin Al Farras, gave his appreciation to the Prabowo-Gibran program, especially regarding the free nutritious food policy.
According to Farras, this program can provide a multiplier effect for the economy, especially if it involves local small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
“If the implementation of this free nutritious meal policy involves MSMEs and ojol in these five aspects, then it is true that this policy will provide a large multiplier effect on the community’s economy,” said Farras.
He also hopes that the use of digital technology in this program can increase effectiveness and efficiency, both in terms of timeliness and administrative management.
“Utilizing technology such as the use of digital technology can make all stages of implementing the free nutritious meal program policy more effective and efficient,” he said.
