The Bali Regional Police will deploy full force to secure WWF later, including BKO personnel from the National Police Headquarters and nearby Regional Police, such as the East Java and NTB Regional Police, totaling around 5,791 personnel. Plus other elements of strength, such as from the TNI and other related agencies.
On the other hand, the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) as a Member of the 10th WWF National Committee for Security and Health also carried out a series of security activities from pre-activity to post-activity.
“We will carry out a series of security activities, starting from the pre-implementation stage, during implementation, and post-implementation,” said Deputy for Prevention, Protection and Deradicalization, Major General TNI Roedy Widodo.
Roedy explained that a series of security activities were carried out starting from assessing the security system at all main venues, holding intelligence coordination meetings, conducting intelligence training for regional intelligence officers in charge of WWF security, to inviting the general public to participate in making WWF a success.
On the other hand, HSE Manager, PT. PLN Indonesia Power, Heri Hermawan, said that the state-owned company he oversees felt helped by the security system assessment carried out by government agencies in welcoming the WWF event.
“So this is an extraordinary thing, of course we need continuous assistance from the BNPT team,” he explained.
According to him, what BNPT is doing is very appropriate in building preparedness and awareness of managers of vital national strategic objects in preventing potential acts of terrorism, especially in facing the global agenda being implemented in Indonesia.
