Aceh Besar – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has again given his great attention to young people. This time by inaugurating a youth development facility in the form of the Aceh Youth Creative Hub Building or the Aceh Unggul and Hebat Young Aneuk Center Building (AMANAH) located in Ladong, Aceh Besar Regency, Tuesday (15/10) afternoon.
President Jokowi said that we are currently in an unclear global uncertainty. First, the world economy is currently only growing around 2.6 percent and many countries have entered the abyss of recession. Second, related to the geopolitics of the Ukrainian war, Israel with Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. And finally, climate change that we are currently feeling the heat storm.
“Therefore, our key is how we can create superior human resources, so that we can compete with other countries. Alhamdulillah in 2023, our economy will still grow by 5.08 percent, in 2024 we estimate it will still be above 5 percent. And we hope that later with the inauguration of the new President, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, our economy will be much better,” said President Jokowi.
Jokowi also added that he was truly amazed by the innovation and creativity of young people in Aceh, be it fashion, especially Muslim fashion and other creativity that was truly very classy.
“AMANAH bag products are not inferior to world brands, they can sell for 50 or even 100 million rupiah, but it turns out that here the price is only 600 thousand. The workmanship is very neat, the design and size are very good, the inside is also very neat, try to increase the price,” Jokowi requested.
President Jokowi also greatly appreciated the initiative of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) which has prepared and built, and hopes that in all provinces there will be other Creative Hubs like this, because it is very useful for young people, the next generation of the nation.
“We really appreciate the initiative of BIN (State Intelligence Agency) which has built a forum like this, and we hope that in all provinces there will be Creative Hubs like this,” said President Jokowi.
Previously, the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc., Ph.D., PSM said that the AMANAH Youth Creative Hub was the brainchild of President Joko Widodo for young people in Aceh. This shows that President Joko Widodo’s love for young people, both in the eastern tip of Indonesia and in the western tip of Indonesia, is extraordinary.
“President Jokowi is the president with the best approval rating in the world to date, I don’t think it’s an exaggeration, because you have truly built and spread development in Indonesia, not only Java-centric, even though he is originally from Java, but his heart is truly for Indonesia,” said Budi Gunawan.
Budi Gunawan also added that this momentum is very historic for young people in Aceh. They have the opportunity to interact directly with President Jokowi, who treats AMANAH Youth Creative Hub as a home for young people in Aceh.
“Today is a very historic moment for the young people of Aceh, being able to interact directly with the President and whenever you come to Aceh, AMANAH is a home for all your children,” concluded Budi Gunawan.
According to him, this further proves that in the era of President Jokowi, development in Indonesia is truly evenly distributed, from Sabang to Merauke. Being President Jokowi’s subordinate is very challenging, because his philosophy is the spirit of command to build.
