Aceh – The inauguration of the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Hebat (AMANAH) Building initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) is a concrete step by the government to develop skills and realize community welfare.
As is known, the AMANAH program is a direct instruction from President Joko Widodo to the Head of BIN, General of Police (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc., Ph.D to participate in developing youth potential. The existence of the program has also received a wide welcome from various elements of society.
Previously, the Deputy Minister of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia (Wamenkominfo RI), Nezar Patria emphasized the importance of the AMANAH program as a forum for the young generation of Aceh who want to develop start-up businesses.
“This program aims to be a forum for those who have an interest and passion in start-up businesses,” explained Nezar.
He added that the program supports digital transformation by providing startup business management classes and digital talent scholarships.
Likewise, the Chairman of the Syiah Kuala University (USK) Business Development Agency, Syaifullah Muhammad, is optimistic that the AMANAH program can encourage the birth of a competent young generation in the startup sector.
“This program is very helpful for the young generation in start-up businesses,” he said.
Syaifullah hopes that the presence of AMANAH can improve the abilities of the young generation of Aceh in various fields, including creativity, research, technology, entrepreneurship, education, and cultural literacy.
“Hopefully this activity will become a new economic movement for young people in Aceh, especially in the commercialization of patchouli products,” he added.
Meanwhile, Jasmine, a member of AMANAH, said that the main objective of this program is to provide space for the creativity of Acehnese youth.
“The AMANAH program aims to realize the creativity of Aceh’s youth by exploring the potential of various sectors of interest,” he concluded.
This inauguration is expected to be the beginning of accelerating the growth of the creative economy and entrepreneurship in Aceh through the use of digital technology.
