Indonesia Holds ISF 2024, Largest Climate Action Event in Asia Pacific Region

Jakarta – Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 will be held in Indonesia on September 5-6, 2024 at the Jakarta Convention Center. The event held at the Jakarta Convention Center is the largest climate action event in the Asia Pacific region.

Deputy Coordinator of Transportation and Infrastructure of the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Rachmat Kaimuddin said that the ISF shows Indonesia’s opportunity to lead and promote fundamental initiatives and collaborations.

“The success of the Indonesia Sustainability Forum last year shows how concrete Indonesia’s opportunities are in leading and promoting fundamental global initiatives and collaborations to achieve fair and equal opportunities for countries to implement decarbonization,” said Rachmat Kaimuddin,

As part of the series of events, a gala dinner was held at the National Monument or Monas area to welcome the heads of state and guests of honor of ISF 2024 on Thursday (5/9).

The National Monument (Monas) will be the location for the gala dinner for the 2024 Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF). In connection with this, the Monas area will be closed to the public on September 4-5, 2024.

Deputy Chairperson for Maritime Affairs, Investment, and Foreign Affairs of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, said that the dinner was a grand but warm event.

“In addition to hosting leaders and participants, the gala dinner was held with the aim of introducing Indonesian culture to guests from various countries,” said Shinta.

For your information, the Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 brings together policy makers, experts, and investors from all over the world to build partnerships in the field of sustainability in order to accelerate the growth of the world’s green economy.

ISF 2024 is also a real action of collaboration between developed and developing countries in overcoming the climate crisis. ISF is expected to produce solutions that support the implementation of financial and non-financial levers (technology, human resources, policies and international collaboration) which are the key to accelerating the realization of sustainable growth.
