The event collaborated with the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) which is under the auspices of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

Previously, the Singing Audition For Papua Street Carnival event was held as a pre-event activity which would be held in early July 2023. The Singing Audition event was attended by dozens of talented singers from Papua.

“I feel happy, nervous, don’t think I can take part in an audition of this magnitude. I am happy, proud and grateful,” said Marsanda at the music studio in the PYCH building, Monday, July 3, 2023.

Marsanda also hopes to continue advancing in the singing auditions held by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy together with PYCH and to become a singer from Papua. “My hope is that in the future I can move on to make Papua proud.” he said.

Happiness was also expressed by Ino Kyeukyeu (25) who successfully passed the selection from the Singing Audition For Papua Street Carnival. He was very proud and happy because he took part in this audition.

According to him, the big event of the Papua Street Carnival is an event to show the talents of Papuan children. “It is very extraordinary that auditions are being held within the framework of the Papua street carnival. This is an event that will show the talents of Papuan children,” said Ino.
