Papuan Youth Leader, Ali Kabiay: Papuan People Must Fully Support Security Forces in Taking Firm Action against KST Papua

Papua – Papuan Youth Leader, Ali Kabiay, fully supports the efforts made by the security forces in cracking down firmly on the Papuan Separatist Terrorist Group (KST). Because KST Papua has become a source of chaos and has been involved in a series of violence that has harmed civilians, threatened regional stability and disrupted the daily lives of the Papuan people.

Firm action against KST Papua is very necessary to maintain the peace and security of the Papuan people, as well as ensuring that law and order are maintained. So the Papuan people must fully support the security forces in taking firm action against the Papuan KST.

This was conveyed by Papuan Youth Leader, Ali Kabiay when interviewed by Matoa TV in Papua, Monday 18/03/2024.

According to Ali, the actions carried out by KST Papua were very disturbing and crossed humanitarian boundaries. Therefore, security forces must act firmly in dealing with KST Papua, so that security and equitable development in Papua can be realized immediately.

“I would like to convey that terrorist separatist groups in Papua have burned, destroyed and killed civilians, set fire to public facilities and hampered development in Papua,” said Ali.

Apart from that, Ali Kabiay also invited all Papuan people to support the efforts of the security forces in taking firm action against KST Papua, so that peace and conduciveness in Papua can continue to be maintained.

The actions carried out by KST Papua do not reflect a struggle, but are criminal acts that violate human rights and harm many parties, so they must be dealt with firmly by the security forces.

“We as Papuan youth leaders, we appeal to all people in Papua to support the security forces to resolve and take firm action against KST in conflict areas, so that people can carry out their activities safely and peacefully,” said Ali.

Ali also requested that the Susi Air pilot, Philip Mark Mehrtens, who was held hostage by KST Papua be immediately released. Because taking hostages is a futile and detrimental action.

“I also want to convey that KST must release pilot Philip Mark Mehrtens, because he is innocent,” said Ali.
