Nusa Dua Bali – The Indonesian Esports Council (PB ESI) is holding a Para Esports Exhibition at the 2022 Indonesia Esports Summit. This is in line with the theme of Unity in Diversity, and to convey a message about esports inclusiveness.
PB ESI Secretary General Frengky Ong said that the activity of organizing the Para Esports Exhibition which took place at the 2022 Indonesia Esports Summit was part of PB ESI’s commitment to increasing the inclusiveness of esports among the wider community.
He explained that esports is a sport that can be followed by a wide range of people, including people with disabilities.
“PB ESI has short, medium and long term programs. Para Esports has also become part of an ongoing coaching program that aims to develop competency and improve the achievements of Indonesian Para Esports athletes, both at the national and international levels, one of which is through holding Para Esports competitions,” said Frengky Ong, Sunday 11/12/ 2022.
The Para Esports Exhibition was held on the Fire Stage, one of the big stages which is also a place for world teams to compete during their participation in the 14th IESF World Esports Championship in Meruka, Bali.
Hopefully the Para Esports Exhibition this time will be concrete evidence of PB ESI’s efforts during the leadership era of General Chair Budi Gunawan in advancing Indonesian Esports by accommodating all people, including those with disabilities.
