President Joko Widodo has once again demonstrated his commitment to developing the potential of Indonesia’s youth by inaugurating the AMANAH Building in Aceh. This facility is designed to support Aceh’s youth in various fields, from technology, agriculture, to the creative industry. The Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Prof. Dr. General of Police (Ret.) Budi Gunawan, emphasized that the AMANAH Building is a concrete manifestation of President Jokowi’s vision in empowering youth throughout Indonesia, both in the eastern tip of Indonesia, such as Papua, and in the western tip, namely Aceh.
“This further proves that in his era, development was truly evenly distributed from Sabang to Merauke,” he added.
According to Budi Gunawan, AMANAH Youth Creative Hub is a direct idea of President Jokowi to support young people in Aceh in innovating and being creative.
“President Jokowi is the president with the best approval rating in the world to date. This is not an exaggeration because he really built and spread development throughout Indonesia, not just Java-centric,” said Budi Gunawan.
AMANAH Building has also successfully gathered more than 20,000 Acehnese youth in various development programs. One of the featured products exhibited is patchouli, which is a major commodity with the best quality in the world. Patchouli products from Aceh are now exported directly to France, as the center of the world’s perfume industry.
In the same place, President Jokowi also witnessed other superior products, such as Aceh coffee which is now penetrating the Korean and Japanese markets, as well as smart technology-based agricultural programs.
“Today I am truly amazed by the innovation, by the creativity of the young people in Aceh who I see are very creative and innovative, whether in fashion, coffee production, to perfume from patchouli oil, which is usually only exported in the form of raw materials,” said President Jokowi.
President Jokowi also emphasized that the AMANAH Program can encourage these commodities to be the focus of concentration, and collaboration between the Provincial Government and District Government so that the development of commodity goods is truly given attention.
The inauguration of the AMANAH Building was very historic for young people in Aceh because they were able to interact directly with President Jokowi.
The presence of the AMANAH Building is expected to be a place for young people in Aceh to continue to work and innovate, bringing hope for a more prosperous and advanced future. “This is all thanks to the concern of Mr. Joko Widodo.
