Aceh – President Joko Widodo inaugurated the AMANAH Youth Creative Hub Building in Aceh on Tuesday (15/10).
In his remarks, President Jokowi expressed his admiration for the creativity and innovation of Aceh’s youth who are able to compete at national and international levels.
“Today I am truly amazed by the innovation and creativity of young people in Aceh, especially in the field of Muslim fashion and design. In my opinion, their work is very classy,” said President Jokowi.
The President also appreciated AMANAH bag products which are sold at affordable prices even though their quality is not inferior to world-renowned brands.
“This AMANAH bag can be sold for 50 or even 100 million, but here it is only sold for 600 thousand. Such a good item is sold for 600 thousand, I think the price should be raised,” he added.
In addition, Jokowi also highlighted various innovative applications developed by young people in Aceh, including those based on artificial intelligence (AI) for irrigation and fertilization. According to him, this innovation is very worthy of appreciation and is not inferior to the work of young people in Jakarta.
“The leap is not less, it’s just a matter of consistently being polished and honed. I really appreciate the initiative from BIN that has prepared this, and we hope that in all provinces there will be Creative Hubs like this,” said President Jokowi.
Meanwhile, the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Prof. Dr. General of Police (Ret.) Budi Gunawan, said that the AMANAH Youth Creative Hub is a manifestation of President Jokowi’s love for Aceh’s young people.
“This is the fruit of President Jokowi’s thoughts who from the beginning has been very concerned about the development of young people in the West and East of Indonesia. His philosophy is very challenging, because if it is an order, it must be completed the next day,” said BIN Chief Budi Gunawan.
He added that AMANAH will always be remembered as President Jokowi’s mandate for a more prosperous and advanced future for Aceh. “All the progress they have made is the fruit of his leadership which can later become a charity,” concluded BIN Chief Budi Gunawan.
