President Jokowi inaugurated the Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Hebat (AMANAH) Building in Aceh on Tuesday (15/10). The inauguration marked a new chapter in efforts to improve the competence of young Indonesian human resources (HR), especially in Aceh.
AMANAH Building is a center for human resource development initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), as part of the government’s commitment to empowering the younger generation. The inauguration of the building highlights significant achievements in the ongoing human resource development sector, creating a space for innovation and education for the younger generation of Aceh.
As a national leader who has been in office since 2014, President Jokowi emphasized that development is not only focused on physical infrastructure, but also on people. According to the national leader born in Surakarta City, Indonesia is currently at the peak of its demographic bonus, where the productive age population is much higher than the unproductive population. This condition is a great opportunity for this nation to escape the middle-income country trap. President Jokowi also emphasized that if the government can provide a conducive ecosystem, both in the economic and political fields, and create jobs for the younger generation, then this demographic bonus will be a great strength for Indonesia.
The Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Hebat (AMANAH) Building is a concrete manifestation of the government’s efforts to build superior human resources that are ready to compete at national and international levels. The facilities provided in this building have been designed to support the development of human resources with qualified skills in the fields of technology and innovation. President Jokowi emphasized that the government is not only tasked with making policies, but also ensuring that the community can enjoy the benefits of the development that has been and is being carried out.
Meanwhile, the Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Police General (ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan, SH, M.Sc., Ph.D Budi Gunawan, emphasized the importance of long-term investment in human resource development. According to him, BIN has transformed into an institution that not only focuses on intelligence, but also on developing quality human resources. The AMANAH building is a concrete manifestation of this effort, where the young generation of Aceh will have the opportunity to improve their skills in a modern environment supported by sophisticated technology.
This human resource development program aims to produce young talents who are not only intelligent but also have integrity, so that they are able to become the main pillars in the development of Aceh and Indonesia in the future. KaBIN Budi Gunawan added that the spirit of collaboration built through the AMANAH Building is expected to have a significant impact on Aceh’s economic growth and the welfare of the Indonesian people as a whole. AMANAH is in line with President Jokowi’s vision, which always emphasizes the importance of equitable development throughout the region, including in Aceh, which is considered the second hometown for the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia.
The author sees that President Jokowi has shown his commitment to the development of Aceh, even at the end of his term. In the midst of his busy activities as Head of State, President Jokowi continues to show special attention to Aceh. This was acknowledged by the Chairman of the Aceh Student and Youth Association Forum (FPMPA), Muhammad Jasdy. As a representative of the young generation of Aceh, Jasdy expressed his gratitude for the attention given by the President of the Republic of Indonesia to the future of the young generation in Aceh.
Jasdy considered the AMANAH Building as one of the most beautiful gifts given by President Jokowi to the people of Aceh. This strategic program initiated by BIN has provided a space for Acehnese youth to develop their creativity and innovation. According to Jasdy, the modern facilities provided in the AMANAH Building, including access to the latest technology, will enable the young generation of Aceh to keep up with global trends. This technology will also help them create new solutions to regional development challenges, thus potentially making a real contribution to Aceh’s economic growth in the future.
Furthermore, the human resource development program also provides access to quality education for the young generation of Aceh, while opening up better job opportunities. The government, through AMANAH, continues to strive to empower young human resources to be able to compete in the global arena. Thus, this initiative not only contributes to improving individual competence, but also has a positive impact on sustainable development in Aceh.
The AMANAH building now stands majestically in the Ladong Industrial Area, Aceh Besar Regency. As a center for innovation development, the building is equipped with various modern facilities that support skills development, research, and collaboration. In a dynamic and collaborative environment, the young generation of Aceh now has the space to develop their potential, realize innovative ideas, and contribute to regional economic development.

With this building, opportunities for the young generation of Aceh to develop are increasingly open, and the future of Aceh is increasingly bright.
