The Head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), Budi Gunawan, who was also present at the event, also praised President Jokowi’s steps in realizing equitable development throughout Indonesia, including in Aceh. “In the era of President Jokowi, development in Indonesia is truly equitable, from Sabang to Merauke. Frankly, being President Jokowi’s subordinate is very challenging,” said Budi Gunawan. He said that the AMANAH Youth Creative Hub is real evidence of the President’s attention to the development of young people in Aceh. “The AMANAH Youth Creative Hub is the fruit of President Joko Widodo’s thoughts on young people in Aceh. Until now, 20,256 young people from Aceh have been registered as members of AMANAH,” he added.
Furthermore, Budi Gunawan explained that the products produced by AMANAH have a competitive advantage in the global market. “The quality of Aceh’s patchouli is the best in the world. Large perfume producers rely heavily on patchouli from Aceh, and specifically at AMANAH. Aceh coffee can also live again with markets for Korea and Japan,” he explained. He also added that the AMANAH Youth Creative Hub is not only a creative forum, but also a catalyst for developing the local economy and improving the welfare of the Acehnese people.
