The working visit which was carried out directly by President Jokowi has indeed become one of the very strong proofs that so far the Indonesian Government, especially during his leadership period, has been very serious about continuing to carry out development in the Land of Papua.
The President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has returned to make his visit directly to the Province of Papua. Then during the visit made by the Head of State, he carried out a number of activities and also important agendas while in the farthest province in the country.
Regarding how a number of important agendas were carried out by the number one person in Indonesia while in Papua Province, the Acting (Pj) Mayor of Jayapura, Frans Pekey said that he had held meetings with a number of figures in Bumi Cenderawasih.
Not only did they get there, but President Jokowi also visited Keerom Regency, where they were harvesting corn. Furthermore, after going there, the President also personally visited Asmat Regency in South Papua Province.
It is also known that the presence in the form of a working visit made by the Head of State directly to the Land of Papua, the people there, especially in the City of Jayapura, gave a very good, warm and festive welcome full of enthusiasm.
The entire community on Cenderawasih Earth also received the entire agenda for the working visit conducted by the seventh Indonesian President. The presence of President Jokowi has become proof that the state is present in Papua.
Then a huge appreciation should also be given to all parties who have participated actively in the success of the working visit carried out by President Joko Widodo, namely from the Presidential Protocol including the Papua Provincial Government (Pemprov) and the Regional Military Command (Kodam). .
All preparations have been carried out very well in ensuring how the working visit can be carried out successfully and smoothly, in which all parties have continued to hold joint meetings and strengthen their coordination to integration with the Governor.
Other appreciation also deserves to be given very high regard to all people and also indigenous Papuans (OAP), especially those in Jayapura City, for giving such a lively welcome with full enthusiasm for the visit from the Head of State, they even continue to strive to creating a safe and conducive atmosphere in the city.
Frans Pekey stated that the atmosphere of togetherness that has been well established so far is indeed very important to be maintained and even improved. He himself as the Acting Mayor of Jayapura has also ordered several Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) to be able to continue to oversee everything properly, to decorate the city including checking street lights.
For information, it turns out that so far, President Jokowi himself has often made direct working visits and come to Papua Province. not even half-hearted, the data shows that the seventh President of the Republic of Indonesia is the leader of the country who has the most and most often goes to Cenderawasih Earth.
Of course, it cannot be denied at all that the government under the leadership of President Joko Widodo has paid very serious attention to be able to continue to realize an increase in welfare for all citizens in Papua. Not only by carrying out infrastructure development, but he also continues to maximize the development of the health and education sectors there.
Meanwhile, the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia (Wapres RI), KH Ma’ruf Amin also emphasized that so far the enthusiasm and strong commitment possessed by the Indonesian Government in its efforts to continue to build prosperity so that peace in the Land of Papua has never been extinguished.
Even though all efforts to be able to continue to bring about an increase in welfare including the pursuit of peace on Cenderawasih Earth is not an easy job to do, the government with all its power and efforts continues to work optimally and optimally to be able to bring all of these things.
The Vice President also said that until now, the Government itself continues to strive to encourage development in the Land of Papua, both in the form of physical development in the form of infrastructure which continues to be intensified, including human development.
The seriousness of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in continuing to work with a very strong commitment accompanied by an undying passion in developing Papua cannot be denied at all, especially since the era of President Joko Widodo’s leadership. There is a lot of evidence showing this seriousness, including how often he is even the Head of State who makes the most direct visits to Cenderawasih Earth.
