The construction of the new AMANAH building in the Aceh Industrial Area (KIA), Ladong Village, Aceh Besar Regency, has presented various sophisticated facilities specifically designed to support the creativity of the region’s young generation. President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) continues to support the development of the creative economy in Indonesia, especially Aceh, and the AMANAH Building is expected to become a center of innovation and development for Aceh’s millennial generation, who are encouraged to take a role in the growth of the regional creative economy.

This building is one of the important infrastructures in supporting the development of the creative economy in the area nicknamed Veranda of Mecca, where the program continues to actively contribute to the development of young Human Resources (HR).

Facilities available in the building include a professional music studio, podcast room, and various other supporting facilities. All of this is presented to enrich the abilities of Acehnese youth in various creative fields such as music production, audio engineering, and digital content.

AMANAH, which is one of the youth human resource development programs initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), provides a great opportunity for the young generation to practice using the latest technology in their field.

One of the superior programs that has been running is the training entitled ?Soundcraft with AMANAH: Mastering Sound Engineering and Music Production Techniques?, which was held at the AMANAH music studio.

The training was aimed at students and youth from various regions in Aceh, who enthusiastically took advantage of this opportunity to hone their skills in audio and music production.

Ridho Brilian Laksamana, one of the training participants, felt very helped by the facilities and professional instructors who were brought directly from Jakarta. Ridho, who experienced the sophisticated studio equipment for the first time at the AMANAH Building, admitted that this place opened up great opportunities for Acehnese youth to explore their talents in the field of audio production.

He stated that the instructors present guided the participants very well, especially in introducing technology such as digital mixers and Digital Audio Workstations (DAW). For Ridho and other participants, this experience gave them new insights and optimism in developing creative work in the future.

The training participants also said that in Aceh, this kind of training is relatively rare, so AMANAH’s presence is the answer to the needs of youth in the creative sector.

More than that, Ridho believes that this program can advance the regional economy through the creation of local creative products. Facilities such as the rehearsal room, vocal room and monitoring room in the AMANAH Building have been professionally designed so as to provide comfort for creative actors to continue working.

Apart from music, President Jokowi’s flagship strategic program also develops other facilities such as a podcast room. Thamlica, one of the facility managers, is optimistic that the podcast room, which is complete with professional equipment such as cameras, computers and aesthetic lighting systems, will be able to encourage the creativity of young Acehnese in producing digital content.

This facility provides an opportunity for Acehnese youth to raise relevant issues in society through the medium of podcasts, as well as improving their abilities in producing high-quality content. According to Thamlica, it is hoped that the creative ideas generated from the podcast space can inspire and enrich digital content in Aceh.

Furthermore, the young human resource development program initiated by AMANAH also initiated various training in other fields, one of which was fashion. In collaboration with the Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC), AMANAH held a training entitled ?X Fashion? Explore Your Passion in Fashion?.

The program is aimed at Aceh’s young generation so they can develop locally based fashion products that are competitive in the international market. Ali Charisma, one of the mentors in the training, emphasized the importance of promoting local culture in fashion design. According to him, traditional Acehnese fabrics such as Acehnese embroidery and batik, have great potential in the global market if processed well.

Ali Charisma suggested that participants remain consistent in promoting local culture while maintaining the quality and competitiveness of their products. The training equips participants with relevant marketing and branding techniques to penetrate international markets. It is hoped that this program will be able to produce new talents in the fashion sector in Aceh, as well as increase the attractiveness of local products in the global market.

Not only limited to fashion, AMANAH also collaborates with the Atsiri Research Center (ARC) from Syiah Kuala University (USK) to empower Acehnese millennials to develop products based on patchouli oil, one of the region’s leading commodities.

The training focuses on the production of patchouli oil derivatives such as perfume, body butter, pomade and body wash soap. By integrating technology and creativity, participants are invited to understand the production process and marketing strategies for these products in both local and international markets.

With various programs already running, AMANAH has become a center for creative human resource development that prioritizes the potential of Aceh’s young people. Existing facilities and training programs not only provide technical knowledge, but also create economic opportunities that can support the local economy. The presence of this new building is clear proof that Aceh has great potential in the creative economy sector, and AMANAH plays an important role in realizing it.
