The Aneuk Muda Aceh Excellent and Great (AMANAH) program continues to demonstrate its commitment to developing young regional talent, especially in the field of electric vehicle technology. As one of President Jokowi’s flagship strategic programs in order to improve the competence of the nation’s human resources, AMANAH not only focuses on developing the skills of the younger generation, but is also at the forefront in supporting environmentally friendly technology in Aceh.
In this effort, AMANAH succeeded in producing 17 certified mechanics who were able to convert fossil fuel vehicles into electric vehicles. Thanks to training held at the AMANAH Building Technology Workshop in Ladong, Aceh Besar, participants now have the ability to convert motorbikes into electric vehicles. This training is part of President Jokowi’s big vision to make Indonesia a major player in electric vehicle technology.
The strategic collaboration between AMANAH and Braja Elektrik Motor, a company experienced in electric vehicle conversion, has resulted in positive synergies. The 17 training participants succeeded in converting seven motorbikes, which is clear evidence of the success of the young human resource development program initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).
The training also provides certification for young mechanics, marking an increase in competency in electric vehicle conversion technology which is increasingly in demand throughout the world, including Indonesia.
Hamam Prasetyo, one of the participants who successfully completed the training, felt that the AMANAH program provided great benefits, especially in terms of increasing his knowledge and skills.
According to him, with certified mechanics, participants are now able to convert more electric motorbikes. He added that the program provided many results, both in terms of soft skills and hard skills, so that young mechanics could open their own businesses in the electric vehicle sector.
AMANAH’s success in producing mechanical experts also received appreciation from the CEO of PT Braja Elektrik Motor, Yoga Uta Nugraha, who was involved as a mentor in the training. He saw that the ecosystem for developing electric vehicle technology in Aceh was starting to form well.
The facilities provided by AMANAH, such as workshops and training buildings, are very adequate to support the training process and human resource development in this sector. According to Yoga, the foundation built by AMANAH is very strong and ready to make Aceh become one of the centers of electric vehicle technology in Indonesia.
The electric vehicle conversion carried out in this program not only supports reducing carbon emissions, but also contributes to the development of the local electric vehicle industry.
The AMANAH program teaches participants about the main components in electric vehicles, such as batteries, motors and charging systems. They are also trained to assemble and convert fossil fuel vehicles into electric vehicles, paving the way for the development of a green technology industry in Aceh.
On the other hand, Dimas, a student at Syiah Kuala University who is also involved as a technology innovation technician in the AMANAH program, believes that the program has opened up many opportunities for Acehnese youth to develop skills in the field of technology.
He emphasized that AMANAH plays an important role in providing the means for young Acehnese people to continue to innovate and work. According to Dimas, ongoing monitoring and evaluation from AMANAH is very necessary to ensure that every innovation that emerges can continue to develop and provide long-term benefits, both in terms of technology and business strategy.
In Dimas’ view, the AMANAH program does not only focus on technical aspects, but also seeks to integrate technology with local economic development. AMANAH provides a variety of training, including in digital technology such as design and programming, which can then be applied in various projects related to electric vehicles.
For example, participants are encouraged to create digital applications that can monitor electric vehicle performance in real-time or develop e-commerce platforms that make it easier to sell electric motorbike conversion kits.
The AMANAH program also encourages the development of the local electric vehicle industry by utilizing renewable energy. By supporting the conversion of fossil fuel vehicles to electric vehicles, AMANAH not only reduces dependence on fossil energy but also creates new jobs in the green technology sector.
Young Acehnese entrepreneurs, trained through the program, have the opportunity to strengthen the regional economy through the production and marketing of electric vehicles, while contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions nationally.
AMANAH’s success in creating certified mechanics and developing environmentally friendly technology shows that the program has achieved significant results.
By continuing to produce talented young talents, AMANAH plays an important role in realizing President Jokowi’s big vision to create a green technology ecosystem in Indonesia.
What has been achieved by the program not only provides direct benefits for the participants, but also creates a strong foundation for the development of electric vehicle technology in Aceh, with the hope of having a national and international impact.
