The government does not prohibit such activities, yet the public must continuously be reminded not to fall into provocation that could undermine the essence of maintaining public order and safety during the event. Organizers must be capable of assuring the public that collective efforts are essential to sustain a conducive environment. Any political agenda that could trigger tensions among communities should be eliminated.
The Governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, stated that this annual event must be conducted smoothly, orderly, and peacefully. He also instructed leaders of regional government agencies—such as the Transportation Agency, Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), Environmental Office, and district mayors—to ensure the event meets these expectations. The local government continues to ensure that all public activities comply with procedures and emphasize transparency. With these measures, the public is expected to remain calm, avoid being swayed by unverified rumors, and work together to maintain safety and stability.
Awareness of social dynamics vulnerable to misinformation must also be strengthened. The 212 Reunion, which will take place in the Monas area, is being coordinated with the National Police to ensure all stages of the event proceed securely and orderly. This partnership reflects a strong commitment to maintaining public order and participant comfort. Through this cooperation, security is expected to be ensured not only physically but also in the digital space, given that hoaxes often trigger unrest before large-scale events.
In recent years, the flow of information on social media has significantly increased, especially ahead of sensitive public gatherings. Various narratives—both positive and negative—are easily spread without verification. This underscores the importance of the public being more selective in filtering the information they receive. The call to combat hoaxes has become an integral part of communication surrounding this year’s 212 Reunion. People are encouraged to return to values of brotherhood, wisdom, and mutual respect in order to cultivate a peaceful atmosphere.

The spirit of ukhuwah (brotherhood) is expected to grow, inspiring people to strengthen their faith and piety toward Allah SWT. It also serves as a space to reinforce bonds among the community, religious scholars, habaib, and national figures. Such solidarity is essential for sustaining harmony in national life.
Jakarta Deputy Governor Rano Karno likewise expressed hope that the reunion would serve as a momentum to uphold unity for the benefit of Muslims and Indonesia as a whole. He encouraged all parties to treat the event as a moment of devotion—praying for Indonesia’s safety and for the freedom of Palestine as an expression of humanitarian solidarity. This global compassion represents one of the moral strengths cultivated in the annual agenda.
Although the event is centered on peace and spirituality, it is important to remain aware of potential attempts by certain parties to exploit it for provocation. Hoaxes often arise around sensitive issues involving large crowds, so the public is urged to stay calm and verify information before sharing it.
