The Job Creation Law (UU) is one step to improve the investment climate and create jobs, this law also has a significant impact on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The Job Creation Law is a major reform in the regulatory system in Indonesia, which is expected to create a more conducive business climate. For MSMEs, which are the backbone of the Indonesian economy, this law offers a series of golden opportunities to grow and develop. One important aspect of the Job Creation Law is easy access to financing for MSMEs. This law introduces a number of policies aimed at making it easier for MSMEs to obtain loans and financial support. For example, the Job Creation Law creates a new mechanism that makes it easier for MSMEs to access funds through microfinance institutions and non-bank financial institutions. The government has also initiated various assistance programs, such as people’s business credit (KUR) with lower interest rates and easier requirements. This allows MSMEs to obtain more affordable working capital, which is important for business expansion and development. With better access to financing, MSMEs can more easily innovate, expand products and services, and increase competitiveness in the market. The Task Force for the Acceleration of the Job Creation Law emphasized the three benefits provided to MSMEs from the Job Creation Law Number 11 of 2020, namely to provide convenience, protection and empowerment.Secretary of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Socialization of the Job Creation Law, Arif Budimanta, said that the Law provides progress in MSMEs, namely making it easier for everyone to carry out business activities, whoever it is, not only large businesses but also small ones, both in terms of ease in business licensing, access to capital. as well as employment aspects, so that the need for employment can be absorbed. The Job Creation Law also brings significant changes in terms of licensing and regulations. Previously, many MSMEs were hampered by the complexity and bureaucracy associated with business permits. With this law, the government is committed to simplifying the licensing process by implementing an electronic-based licensing system known as the Online Single Submission ( OSS ) system. Arif Budimanta said that the Job Creation Law ensures that all business actors have equal access to services, both large businesses and micro, small and medium businesses.Likewise, Chair of the Substance Synergy Working Group for Socialization of the Job Creation Law Task Force, Tina Talisa, said that her party believes that the ease of business licensing will have a significant positive impact on MSMEs, such as increasing public and investor confidence in the business climate in Indonesia, expanding markets and increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs, faster growth and development of MSMEs, as well as a greater contribution from MSMEs to the national economy. This reformed the licensing policy, which was initially difficult to make easier through the Online Single Submission digital system , resulting in convenience, empowerment and protection for MSMEs.The Job Creation Law is designed to protect and support MSMEs. One important step is to provide protection for MSMEs in the event of unfair business competition. This regulation emphasizes the need for transparency and fair play in the market, which can help MSMEs compete more fairly with large companies.Secretary General of the Indonesian MSME Association (Akumindo), Edy Misero, said that the presence of the Job Creation Law could encourage all business activities, including MSMEs, to accelerate more quickly and more easily.Apart from that, this law also facilitates training and capacity development for MSMEs. The government and related institutions provide various training programs and workshops designed to improve the managerial and technical skills of MSME entrepreneurs. With better capabilities, MSMEs can face business challenges more effectively and exploit market opportunities more optimally. In this digital era, technological adaptation is the key to business success. The Job Creation Law recognizes the importance of innovation and technology in the development of MSMEs. Therefore, this law encourages the use of digital technology in MSME business processes. For example, there is support for the development of e-commerce platforms and digital-based management systems.Apart from that, this law also provides incentives for MSMEs that adopt new technology. The government provides various facilities and support for research and technological development that can be utilized by MSMEs. With this support, MSMEs can update and improve operational processes, as well as access a wider market through digital platforms. The Job Creation Law is a big step in reforming the Indonesian economy, especially for MSMEs. By simplifying regulations, easy access to financing, market protection, and support for innovation and technology, this law provides various opportunities for MSMEs to develop and innovate. However, to achieve optimal results, joint efforts between the government, financial institutions and the private sector are needed to provide support and guidance to MSMEs.With effective implementation and appropriate support, MSMEs in Indonesia have great potential to grow more advanced and play an important role in the national economy. In the future, the success of the Job Creation Law will depend greatly on how all parties can overcome existing challenges and take advantage of the opportunities that have been created.
