JAKARTA — Indonesian Vice President Ma’ruf Amin, in his remarks at the 2024 ISF Gala Dinner, said that the event was an important momentum to strengthen the commitment to a greener future.
Indonesian Vice President, KH Ma’ruf Amin revealed that Indonesia has developed a solar power project, which has been useful in providing electricity access to thousands of households.
“In recent years, solar and geothermal power projects have provided access to electricity for thousands of households and become a model for other countries,” he explained, Thursday (5/9) evening.
Not only that, but the government also has another focus through empowering local communities.
“The government also has another focus, namely green growth through empowering local communities, creating green jobs and sustainable agricultural practices that pay attention to ecosystem balance,” explained the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.
KH Ma’ruf Amin assessed that all ISF 2024 activities are a momentum to continue to strengthen our shared commitment to a greener future.
“Today’s activity is a momentum to strengthen our commitment to a greener and more prosperous future,” he said.
Therefore, the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia invited all parties to work together and do several things to realize this green future.
“For that reason, I would like to invite all delegates participating in this forum to create more sustainable and inclusive global development,” he said.
“I invite world leaders to jointly optimize international cooperation in the field of green technology,” said KH Ma’ruf Amin.
According to him, with the support of all countries, it is not impossible that the global transition will be realized.
“With the support of all countries, both technically and financially, I believe that the global transition to a low-carbon economy can be realized more fairly and equitably,” said the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia.
