Regarding this, the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Basuki Hadimuljono said that all investors would also participate to be invited to the IKN Nusantara.
Previously, Minister Basuki had also ensured that President Jokowi was indeed on a working visit to fly directly to East Kalimantan and see how the progress of the construction of the Nusantara IKN itself would invite investors to come there as well.
It’s not half-hearted, even the parties who are definitely invited to participate by the seventh Indonesian President are Malaysia and also other countries that have already stated their commitment to invest in Letters of Intent (LOI) .
Before the agenda for the joint visit with the investors was carried out, the Government had also prepared in advance the land area of up to 700 hectares needed to be presented to the investors. According to the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing, there are currently no significant obstacles in the physical development of IKN Nusantara.
There are a number of things in the development of the Nusantara National Science Institute that require investments financed by non-APBN funds, including to build international hospitals, integrated educational facilities, office and service areas, multi-purpose buildings, commercial commercial facilities and residential facilities.
On the other hand, regarding the progress of the development of the Nusantara IKN, the Head of the Nusantara IKN Infrastructure Development Implementation Task Force Danis Sumadilaga said, the average development in the Archipelago IKN Area reached 22 percent. According to him, the development of IKN is divided into two, namely the development of the central government core area (KIPP) and also those outside KIPP.
He added that construction outside KIPP was almost complete, such as the progress of the construction of the Sepaku Semoi Dam, which was around 97 percent and the Mentawir Dam, which was around 99 percent. As for development outside of KIPP and Bina Marga which is being carried out by the Ministry of PUPR itself, now it has also started with the construction of toll roads, which have progress varying from 3 to 8 percent.
Meanwhile, for development in the Central Government Core Area (KIPP), Danis said, construction of the presidential palace area has already begun, including the presidential palace and the ceremonial field. He explained that the construction of the Presidential Palace with ceremonial grounds had progressed by 5 to 7 percent. Then there is also the construction of the President’s office which has the shape of a Garuda bird with the same progress.
Danis continued, the construction of offices around the presidential palace is also being carried out, namely the office of the Presidential Secretariat and the office of the Presidential Security Force (Paspampres). He also said that in front of the ceremonial field, the National Axis or open area was being built. Regarding the development of the national axis which is located in an open area, this open area has progressed by 5 to 6 percent.
In addition, Danis said, the government was also building the West National Axis Road and the Eastern National Axis Road in the KIPP area and housing for the State Civil Apparatus (ASN). There is an office for the Coordinating Ministry (Kemenko), of which 3 of the 4 plans have started to be built, which include the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Investment and there are others that are still in the procurement process.
Finally, Danis said, the PUPR Ministry is also building in area 1B at IKN Nusantara to anticipate the arrival of investors. Carrying out land development in the area, which is quite important because it will be able to welcome the arrival of investors to invest their capital by fully supporting the development of the Nusantara IKN. Of course, by conducting a review of the development of the Archipelago IKN, President Jokowi invites investors who are really needed for the continuation of the accelerated development of the Archipelago IKN for the sake of equitable development in Indonesia.
