Marsudi, the Secretary General of the Central Leadership of Muhammadiyah, Prof. Abdul Mu’ti also expressed appreciation for the cooperation that has developed between President Jokowi and Muhammadiyah over the past ten years. According to him, the election of Prabowo and Gibran is not just a victory for them, but a victory for all the people of Indonesia.
“We must accept the results of the election as part of the consequences of choosing a democratic system. Therefore, the election of Prabowo and Gibran is not just a victory for them, but a victory for the Indonesian nation.” “Because a peaceful and orderly election is part of our maturity in democracy,” said Prof. Abdul Mu’ti.
Professor Mu’ti also invites all elements of society to give the new government a chance to carry out its duties. “Let us give the new government the opportunity to lead the administration of the state.” “In my opinion, that is a consequence of democracy, and with the election of Prabowo-Gibran, we should give them a chance to work,” he said.
