Papua is a beautiful and proud region in Indonesia, because of its exotic forests and sea. Unfortunately, the natural harmony there cannot impress the separatists. They provoked the situation to turn sour, but were immediately punished by the authorities. The community continues to support the police and TNI in maintaining peace in Papua.

Earth of paradise is a beautiful area, if only there were not separates who messed up the peace there. The Papuan people are often harassed by the OPM and its gangs, because they insist on wanting to be independent. Even though civilians don’t want to be influenced by them. The reason is because he is comfortable being an Indonesian citizen and is proud to be part of the Republic of Indonesia.

Because in Papua the situation is still a bit precarious, so the guard is tightened again. The number of officers, both TNI and Polri on guard, is increasing. Especially ahead of important days, such as Christmas and New Year. The apparatus must continue to maintain a peaceful situation, so that there are no more individuals who can trigger riots and disturb the community.

Peace is very important to be maintained, because in Cendrawasih Earth not only indigenous Papuans are inhabited, but also immigrants from Java and other islands. Their beliefs also differ. The existence of this difference can be a point that the separatists are eyeing on, because they want to clash it, so that the situation is chaotic and someone asks the OPM for protection.

People are asked not to be carried away by OPM’s psychological games. If there is a riot, then contact the police or army to ask for protection. Don’t even call other unauthorized parties. The police and soldiers are friends of the people and are obliged to maintain peace in the Cendrawasih Earth region.

The West Papua provincial government keeps the Earth of Cendrawasih always peaceful, by holding meetings between officials and the authorities. During the event, Deputy Governor of West Papua Mohammad Lakotani said that he gathered all parties to bring security to Manokwari and other areas of Papua.

In the event, a number of figures were gathered, such as the Governor of West Papua Dominggus Mandacan, Inspector General Pol Paulus Waterpauw from the National Police Headquarters, the XVIII Commander, Kasuari Maj. Gen. Joppye Wayapai, and West Papua Police Chief Herry Nahak. Top TNI and Polri officers were gathered so that they would increasingly maintain peace and security in Cendrawasih Earth.

Support for the apparatus from the officials is indeed needed, so that both parties can collaborate and create harmony in Papua. So that there are no more separatist elements who neutralize the issue of SARA and hoaxes, thereby breaking peace in Papua. Because they will be immediately caught by the authorities who have been investigating the case for a long time.

When the authorities arrested the separatists, the village officials obeyed the governor and his deputy. They will not defend the separatists, even if they are still their own relatives, for example. This is because they realize that being a member of the OPM is wrong and violates the law in Indonesia. Because the separatists are traitors to the nation.

The community also continues to support the performance of members of the TNI and Polri, while maintaining security in the Cendrawasih Earth area. When a member of the OPM is suspicious or even knows there is smuggling of weapons or groceries by OPM members, they immediately inform the police. So that chaos can be prevented as soon as possible, because the community is responsive.

The support of the public and officials to all apparatus is very valuable. The reason is that the collaboration is able to produce peace in the Earth of Cendrawasih region , and both parties help and respect each other. Civil society also continues to support the apparatus to maintain order in Papua and create a harmonious situation.
