Additional cases of positive Covid-19 patients continue to occur and are likely to increase. This addition was influenced by the number of violations of health protocols, so that the public supported firm action against these offenders.
Wiku Adisasmito as spokesman for the Covid-19 Handling Task Force has asked the government and regional task forces to strictly enforce health protocols to prevent the spread of the corona virus.
If there is a protocol violation, the violator must be dealt with according to the rules and without discrimination.
His party has also asked the government and regional task forces and law enforcement officials to enforce discipline and take firm action against anyone who violates this health protocol indiscriminately and in accordance with applicable regulations.
However, he also asked all parties to comply with the health protocol set by the government. If the protocol is followed, prosecution for violations can be suppressed.
Wiku reminded that efforts to handle Covid-19 can be done well if coordination between the government, the community and various stakeholders can run effectively. He gave an example, such handling has been successfully implemented in Thailand.
The pagoda country has become the first country besides China to report positive cases of Covid-19. However, currently Thailand only has 4,000 cases and 60 fatalities despite its population reaching 70 million.
Thailand has also been committed to continuing to invest in health for 40 years and to build a network of more than millions of health workers in villages who act as the eyes and ears of the health system in the community.
This seems to have been appreciated by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Wiku also does not want the hard work that has been done for many months to be damaged because the government and its citizens are not careful and do not care about the spread of Covid-19.
Apart from DKI Jakarta, there are also islands which contributed 1,166 cases, namely Riau, East Java and Central Sulawesi.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Riza Patria as deputy governor of DKI ensures that his party will take firm action against health protocol violators. This aims to prevent an increase in covid-19 transmission
It was recorded that at the end of 2020, the use of daily isolation beds (inpatient rooms) and ICU rooms at 98 Covid-19 referral hospitals in DKI Jakarta had increased, where 5,691 out of 6,663 isolation room beds in Covid-19 hospitals were filled.
In different places, joint officers in Tuban Regency, East Java, take firm action against health protocol violators in the local district. This action in a number of crowded places was carried out because the Tuban area was implementing an extension of community activity restrictions (PPKM) to control the spread of Covid-19.
The joint officers involved in the operation this time were Satpol PP, Transportation Service, police and TNI. From the operations that were held at six crowded points and cafes, officers found 30 violations. All of these operating locations are around the city of Tuban.
When controlling, officers also encountered resistance from the owner of the business place who refused to take action. Head of Satpol PP of Tunan Regency Number 65 of 2020 concerning the application of discipline and law enforcement of health protocols in Tuban regency.
In addition, this firm action is an implementation of the decision of the Governor of Central Java and the Tuban Regent Circular regarding the extension of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) to control the spread of the corona virus.
In a separate location, East Kalimantan Police Chief AKBP Eko Susanto said he would take firm action against people who violate health protocols.
Previously, the Paser Regency Government had issued a policy to enforce the PPKM at night to prevent the widespread spread of Covid-19, this policy was valid for one month in January 2021.
He also reminded the public to always comply with health protocols!
Adherence to health protocols should certainly become a guideline for the community in their activities.
Health protocols were made and drafted, of course, not without reason, the regulation was built as community guidance when doing activities outside the home.
This firm action is of course expected to be a deterrent effect for the perpetrators, on the other hand, this should also be a reminder for anyone who wants to do outdoor activities.
The Health Protocol is a fixed price for all human beings who still want sunshine. 3M (washing hands, maintaining distance and wearing masks) is of course already stored in memory, just how the implementation will be.
