Health Protocol Discipline is the Key Success to Keep Productive in Adaptation Era of New Habits

The COVID-19 pandemic is changing people’s behavior patterns in various fields. Starting from the existence of social distancing or social distancing that makes people do most of their activities from home, to the appeal to maintain health and endurance by eating nutritious foods and multivitamin supplements. It is this change in habit that needs to be adapted again in carrying out daily activities safely, even though there are still many threats from COVID-19

The term New Normal was changed to Adaptation to New Habits so that people are more aware of maintaining hygiene. Because the pandemic is still not over, Covid-19 can even spread through airborne. So we still have to wear masks and adhere to health protocols

The government continues to campaign to diligently wash hands or use hand sanitizers, wear masks, and keep your distance. Also suggested that people maintain environmental health and immunity.

Adaptation to New Habits means trying to live productively despite the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia. We live side by side with Covid-19 and work again outside the home, and adhere to health protocols. Because this virus will not be transmitted when humans are healthy. Because now Covid-19 is getting more and more vicious and can be transmitted through the air, the public must remain vigilant.

As stated by Wiku Adisasmita, Head of the Expert Team of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, Wiku Adisasmita, the adaptation of new habits is interpreted as a change in people’s behavior to continue carrying out normal activities by disciplining implementing health protocols.

The following are guidelines for health protocols in the era of adaptation to new habits, including:

  1. Always wear a mask while in public areas
  2. Maintain hand hygiene by washing your hands frequently with soap and running water or using a hand sanitizer
  3. Avoid touching facial areas such as eyes, nose and mouth.
  4. Keep paying attention to maintain a minimum distance of 1 meter from other people.

The adaptation of new habits can run effectively if the community is willing to follow and consistently carry out the established health protocols together. It is hoped that all levels of society can understand and carry out this new life order as well as possible so that they can continue their activities as normal but avoid the spread of Covid-19 through the application of good health protocols is an effective way to prevent Covid-19 transmission, let’s fight together against the spread. Covid-19 with the success of the New Habit Adaptation era.
