Hospital Occupancy Rate for Covid- 19 Patients Slopes

Hospital occupancy rates for Covid- 19 patients in several areas are reported to have continued to decline. It is hoped that this positive trend will continue to be maintained and the public is also advised to always obey Prokes.

We want to be free from the pandemic period as soon as possible and try hard so as not to get Corona. In addition to obeying various rules in the PPKM level 4 phase, we are also required to apply the 10M health protocol. The results are very positive because the number of Corona patients has decreased, and hopefully it will be further suppressed by the extension of PPKM level 4.

The results of PPKM level 4 began to appear, when in Cianjur the BOR (hospital bed occupancy) decreased. Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman stated that in Cianjur Hospital, the BOR is only 65%, even in other hospitals it is only 40%. Meanwhile in the centralized isolation room, the bed occupancy rate has also decreased, along with the decreasing number of Corona patients.

Herman added, hopefully this number will continue to decline so that Cianjur is completely free of Corona. So that this area can return to being a green zone. Meanwhile, the patient’s recovery rate is also high, reaching 80 people per day. In a sense, there is really positive because there are fewer sick people while there are more healthy ones.

When the number of occupancy rates in hospitals continues to decline, this is a very good thing because it means that fewer people are infected with the Covid-19 virus. This means that government programs are actually implemented by the community. They comply with PPKM level 4 and do not move outside the home, except for absolutely essential matters.

In addition, the community is also orderly and requires children to go to school from home and there is no school that forces students to take face-to-face classes. If someone is forced to enter, it is a violation and can be reported to the Education Office or local government. The reason is because they are afraid that there will be a school cluster.

Moreover, currently circulating in the air is the delta variant Corona which can be transmitted only by passing OTG. Meanwhile, students who are under 12 years old have not received the vaccine because there is no type yet. So it’s better for them to study at home to keep themselves away from the risk of getting sick with Corona.

When the bed occupancy rate in the hospital decreases, don’t get into euphoria, because the place is not completely empty. There are still patients there and we must remain vigilant in dealing with the mischief of the Covid-19 virus. Don’t let you become the next patient just because you are lazy to apply health protocols.

Don’t forget to wear a mask and in the current situation it is mandatory to wear two layers of masks, namely a disposable mask on the inside and a cloth mask on the outside. The goal is to maximize filtration up to 85-90%, thus rejecting droplets scattered in the air. Remember that currently OTG is increasing and we don’t know who has Corona but we don’t know it.

In addition, avoid meeting with other people, even siblings. If you have to, chat with a distance of at least 1 meter and still wear a mask even if you are receiving guests. Don’t be careless at all because the delta variant Corona is more virulent when it attacks the human immune system.

When the occupancy rate of beds in hospitals continues to decline, this is good news because it shows that fewer people are being infected by the Covid-19 virus. This is the fruit of government programs such as PPKM level 4 and the 10M health protocol. However, we must not be careless in the slightest even though the number of patients is decreasing, because it is still obligatory to apply protocols everywhere.
