Indonesian and Malaysian counselors have met to discuss the fourth Malindo international counseling seminar and workshop in Bali to help prepare the human resources of both countries to face the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). The AEC is to be established by the end of the year.

Ketut Sudikerta, deputy governor of Bali in his opening speech said “Indonesia and Malaysia are neighboring countries, so both should complement, take advantage of and benefit each other. Malaysia needs skilled workers and Indonesia has to prepare a high quality of workers through professional counseling to face the globalization.”

Previously, The Ministry of National Development Planning has met Thailand delegations from NESDP (National Economic and Social Development Board) which led by Mr. Nopporn Manoonpol, Senior Advisor in Policy Making and Planning. The purpose of the meeting is asked Indonesian preparation following by AEC 2015, which covered by “free flow of goods, free flow of services, free flow of investment, free flow of capital, and free flow of skilled labor”.
