Jakarta, CIDISS – Energy has become a problem that is is crucial for all countries in the world. The times has contributed in increasing human dependence on energy. Almost all human activities require energy, such as transportation, household and industry needs. In the future, energy is becoming a scarce commodity that will be contested states that the need for efforts to renew sources of energy in order to free the country from the energy crisis or even dependence on other countries.

The government policy in establishing sovereignty Energy Fund (DKI) is a right step in maintaining national energy sovereignty. The policy will have a positive impact in the development of new renewable energy and energy conservation (EBTKE) long term for Indonesia. The development of this energy will be a domino affect on economic growth in Indonesia several years. Currently, Indonesia has an 8 renewable energy sources, namely biofuels, biomass, hydro, geothermal, wind, solar, ocean waves, tides.
