The government plans to carry out economic recovery through New Normal . However, the public is expected not to over-react with the new normalcy because the threat of Covid-19 transmission between communities continues to occur.
Easing of Large-Scale Social Restrictions ( PSBB ) seems to be described as someone who has just gotten out of prison. When the government loosened the PSBB and opened a shopping center, people immediately welcomed it in droves of hunting clothes without heeding the appeal of social distance. Because of this, health workers who handled co-19 until they made the hashtag #IndonesiaTerserah.
The Provincial Government of DKI Jakarta plans to launch a PSBB which ends on 4 June.
DKI Jakarta DPRD member Gilbert Simanjuntak said, although new norms were imposed, the threat of co-19 transmission was still present. Of course community vigilance should not be saggy especially when outside the home.
He said he urged people not to have euphoria when the new normal was implemented. Don’t let the history of the Spanish flu outbreak ever happen again. The Spanish flu shows that the outbreak could occur in the second wave because people are too euphoric.
Gilbert added, in several countries that had relaxed tight restrictions, they conducted evaluations every 2 weeks or there were 4 weeks related to covid-19 transmission. He advised the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to implement the same thing.
On a different occasion, Chairperson of DKI Jakarta DPRD Prasetyo Edi Marsudi asked Governor Anies Baswedan to immediately reopen houses of worship.
Opening a house of worship is not without reason. Referring to Letter E of the Minister of Religion Number 15/2/2020 concerning Guidelines for Conducting Religious Activities in Worship Houses in realizing productive and safe society co-19 in the pandemic period.

The mayor of Depok Mohammad Idris opened the opportunity that PSBB in his area would not be extended if it met epidemiological requirements.
One of the main conditions referred to by Idris is a decrease in the effective reproduction rate of the Covid-19 Case in Depok.
If these requirements are met, the Depok City government will prepare to apply PSBB only at the RW level or Kelurahan Zona Merah.
Outside the Red Zone, new normal activities will be conducted so that residents’ activities that were previously restricted could potentially be reopened with claims based on health protocols, including worship activities until shopping.
He also highlighted the opening of shopping centers after new normal later. Alif is worried that the opening of a shopping mall will potentially cause a surge in new cases of Covid-19 in Depok.
Alif gave an example like the discovery of a positive trader of the corona virus in Cisalak Market. As well as experiences from developed countries like South Korea.
If later the new normal is applied, of course the public should not be ignorant of all health protocols that have been recommended.
Discipline in using masks and applying physical distancing is certainly not a bargain. Besides public places such as offices or shopping centers must also provide hand washing facilities.
New Normal is the stage that is applied when the patient’s cure rate increases and the incidence of new cases is sloping. Even so do not let the euphoria of this application makes us add to the chain of transmission of the corona virus.
