ACEH – The Aceh Superior and Great Youth Program (AMANAH) continues to strengthen its commitment to boosting the local economy through various initiatives. One of its flagship programs is the cultivation of Lamno Robusta coffee seedlings in Pante Keutapang Village, Jaya District, Aceh Jaya Regency. This program receives full support from President Joko Widodo through the National Intelligence Agency, which aims not only to enhance the productivity of local coffee but also to empower the younger generation of Aceh through the coffee agriculture sector.
According to M. Haris, one of the robusta coffee cultivators in Aceh Jaya, the Lamno robusta coffee nursery has great potential to become a new economic center in Aceh Jaya Regency.
“Besides its taste that aligns with the preferences of the Acehnese people, the coffee also has special benefits for consumers with a history of stomach acid issues,” said Haris.
In its development efforts, AMANAH collaborates with the youth in Pante Keutapang Village to actively engage in this cultivation process. The younger generation is trained and empowered to understand the process of seedling cultivation to the care of robusta coffee, while also being motivated to start their own coffee business. This program is expected to serve as a driving force for the local economy and open up business opportunities for the youth.

“With this, it is hoped to become a center for Robusta Coffee, thereby improving the economy of the community,” Haris optimistically expressed.
The cultivation of robusta coffee in the Lamno region is carried out with the aim of improving the welfare of the community and providing new economic opportunities.
“Youth in Aceh are increasingly motivated to open up other business opportunities,” added Haris.
In addition, Haris also explained that the breeding has produced many targets.
“The current seedling cultivation has reached 43,000 seedlings out of a target of 50,000 seedlings. As many as 3,000 seedlings have even been taken to the AMANAH Building,” said Haris.
Haris hopes that the achievement of the robusta coffee seedling target from Lamno can become a mainstay and bring significant economic change for the local community.
The Robusta Coffee Seedling Nursery in Lamno, developed through the AMANAH Program, is a tangible proof of the collective effort to elevate the local potential of Aceh Jaya. Through the empowerment of youth and structured seedling cultivation, this program not only aims to enhance the economy but also to build a more productive, independent, and business-minded generation. Robusta coffee from Lamno has the potential to become a flagship product that can elevate the name of Aceh Jaya on the national stage, while also being part of a significant effort to build economic independence in this region.
