The 212 reunion will be held again, the plan is in early December 2021. The public immediately rejected it outright because there was still a pandemic and could trigger a third wave of Covid-19.
During this nearly 2-year pandemic, there have been many changes in society, especially when outside the home. We all must obey health protocols such as wearing masks and maintaining distance. In addition, it is also important to avoid crowds because there could be OTG, especially when he has not been vaccinated.
However, this rule will be broken by PA 212 because they will have a reunion, right on December 2, 2021. Chair of PA 212 Selamet Ma’arif admits that and he is taking care of the technicalities, including applying for a crowd permit to the police.
However, the public did not sympathize at all with the 212 reunion. First, this event was too politically swayed, and it was suspected that invisible hands were the mastermind. Second, the reunion was held in the midst of a pandemic so it clearly violated health protocols, and it was certain that the police would not get permission.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government itself when confirmed stated that Monas was still closed during the pandemic. In a sense, they also refuse to be associated with the 212 reunion, and reject it subtly. If there is no official permission from the police and the DKI Jakarta provincial government, it is certain that the reunion will be dissolved.
When the masses are dispersed and dispersed, don’t be angry, because it is they who violate health regulations and protocols. Even though you already wear a mask, can you guarantee that during the event, it will be fully worn and not opened at all? At least it must be opened once, when eating together.
Even though removing masks is very dangerous, especially during the reunion there are many people who are jostling and violating the rules of social distancing. Can the reunion participants guarantee that the friend next to them is not an OTG? Or maybe he’s the OTG one, because during a pandemic everyone can be suspected.
When you open your mask and don’t keep your distance, there is a potential for transmission of the corona virus, because droplets can spread easily in the air. Imagine if someone turns out to be OTG and he infects thousands of reunion participants, it’s really sad. Moreover, the risk is even greater when many have not been vaccinated.
It could be that mass transmission occurs and causes nightmares because of the corona virus in congregation. Because of the reason for the reunion to gather, he was infected with the covid-19 virus. Moreover, what is spread in Indonesia is the Delta variant corona which is more virulent because it is the result of mutation and attacks 2 times faster. What do you want like this? Tepar 2 weeks because of corona then regretted being desperate to join the reunion.
Therefore, do not be desperate to hold a 212 reunion event, because it is still a pandemic period, and the police will not be given permission. Don’t be angry when the masses are stopped, because the officers are carrying out their duties. In fact, they are the heroes for banning crowds and preventing the transmission of the corona virus.
If you are determined to hold a reunion, it is feared that it could trigger a third wave of corona attacks. Don’t let there be a bad possibility like this, because it can mess up and prolong the pandemic.
Just cancel the 212 Reunion plan and don’t do it, because it doesn’t get permission, either from the police or the DKI Jakarta provincial government. Why are you desperate for a reunion when the event is just a get-together and eat together? Remember that this is still a pandemic and there is a threat of corona everywhere.
