The Government is Optimally Preventing the Entry of the Newest Variant of Covid-19

The government is optimal in preventing the entry of the latest variant of Covid-19, one of which is by tightening supervision of international airports. The public is also asked to always be disciplined in implementing Prokes to reduce the potential for the spread of Covid-19.
Covid-19 continues to mutate. From the first variant alpha, beta, delta, and finally your variant. The mutated virus is certainly much more dangerous because it attacks 2 times faster and makes corona patients suffer longer.
The delta variant of the Covid-19 virus also has derivatives, namely AY.23, AY. 24, and AY 4.2. Although it has not been reported to have entered Indonesia, but we must be vigilant, not to spread it secretly and cause a third wave of corona attacks. Currently cases are decreasing but we must not be careless, because the pandemic period is not over yet.
Spokesperson for the vaccination of the Ministry of Health, doctor Siti Nadia Tirmidhi, stated that the delta variant of the Covid-19 virus was the dominant virus in Indonesia. Therefore, we are taking precautions, so that the derivatives of the virus do not enter this country. The trick is to tighten the entrance to Indonesia, especially at the airport.
Every foreigner or Indonesian citizen who has just landed in Jakarta or other cities is required to quarantine for 5 days. This quarantine is mandatory, no matter if he is an ordinary person or a public figure. To make it easy, quarantine is carried out in hotels designated by the government, and they are completely sterile so that the potential for corona transmission decreases.
What if someone escapes from quarantine? This is a crime, and both those who run away and those who help them can be fined millions of rupiah. In addition, he could also be threatened with imprisonment, because he was involved in the Quarantine Law.
In addition to quarantine, Indonesian citizens and foreigners who have just entered Indonesia are also required to perform a PCR swab test up to 3 times. Why so much? The goal is to really find out, whether they are infected with the Covid-19 virus or not. If it is true that it is infected, it will be treated at the Athlete’s House and treated to the maximum.
Prevention with quarantine and swab tests is done because it is better to prevent than cure. If there are immigrants who carry the covid-19 virus, we don’t know for sure which variant he is exposed to. The danger is when he comes and brings the mutated virus and transmits it to many people in Indonesia, so quarantine and testing is an obligation.
We certainly remember when there was the first corona case in Indonesia. At that time the patient was a dancer who interacted with foreigners, who had traveled abroad. Don’t let this mistake repeat itself. Therefore, it is natural that the security at the entrance at the airport is very strict and during quarantine the family is not allowed to visit at all.
In addition to quarantine and swab tests, prevention of the spread of corona in Indonesia is carried out by remaining disciplined in implementing the 10M health protocol. Even though the case is sloping, it is still mandatory to wear a mask. Even to prevent transmission of the delta variant corona, it is recommended to use a double mask, so it is completely safe.
Don’t let the new variant of the Covid-19 virus enter Indonesia. Therefore, the guarding of the entrance gates at the airports is getting tighter. Every Indonesian citizen and foreigner who has traveled abroad is required to quarantine at a hotel or other place designated by the government, and take up to 3 swab tests, to be completely safe.
